The met police have been quick enough to release the description on this one.
To stop another Southport incident and riot with a lot of drunk people out on the streets.
It’s really not difficult to understand why. And the Met cover London. Not Liverpool.
Willing to concede it might not be a bad idea to put to rest as quickly as possible any kind of rumours because we live in volatile times.
But there is a double standard on this that is worthy of comment, no matter how justified it might be. Let's see what transpires. Clearly a very confused situation at the moment.

Many other clubs have put out a statement of regret and support in light of this evening's disgusting incident. As we were their last opponents I'd have expected CPFC to do likewise.
