Let’s be honest, we looked better at the back end of last season without Guehi
And because the ref blew before the ball went in VAR "couldn't get involved". Clear and obvious error obviously doesn't apply.Fair play to Redknapp and Richards:
‘Not even a foul, terrible decision and sympathy for Palace’.
F’kin joke.

C'mon Teddy, you ought to know by now 'clear & obvious' doesn't apply now its all about who tv & the officials want to win. BTW, this is the refs 1st full season in the EPL he did 5 games at the end of last season. And because the ref blew before the ball went in VAR "couldn't get involved". Clear and obvious error obviously doesn't apply.
As Dermot Gallagher won't say on Refwatch tomorrow. The cvnt shouldn’t have blown his whistle
It was actually a good game until the goal was disallowed. We controlled the game, Brentford just stood at the back and hit the ball forward. Unfortunately, the defense was poor at the goal, probably because the team was unsettled by the disallowed goal.
What stands out:
- Kamada had a few good ideas but overall not enough useful ones.
- We repeatedly pressed up front, Brentford were able to break free, played quickly forward and the defense floundered at the back.
- Metata was mostly invisible.
- Overall, I think our game up front is still too slow. If they are so concentrated at the back, we have to crack them with speed.
