Various websites are reporting that Everton and Bournemouth are ready to match our offer for Johnson.
It may ultimately come down to which club he finds more attractive. At the moment, we’re the only London club in for him, which could be an advantage if he’s reluctant to move away from the area.
As I’ve said in a previous post, until CPFC officially announce his signing — complete with the usual media photos — I won’t get excited!

Hopefully - Some, however drummed up media report of 2 other PL clubs being ready to match our offer isn't the same as either of them actually having made an offer & had it accepted to the point of scheduling a medical due to take place within 24 hours (presumably that means today) however we all know what happened in the last window with Igor from Brighton, who jumped ship to WH & is now struggling to even get a place on their bench.
