------------Lacroix-------Andersen--------Guehi--------------

Munoz------------Wharton----------Eze-----------van Aanholt

------------------Olise-------------------Zaha------------------

------------------------------JPM--------------------------------

Manager: Oliver Glasner

Subs: Speroni, Dann, Mitchell, Cabaye, Gallagher, Bolasie, Murray

Perhaps harsh on Mitchell, but PvA was good for us and would be perfect for Glasner's system. Also had to fit Eze in to CM to accommodate Wilf and Olise (he has played there for us a little).

To be fair a few players that were both great and rubbish depending on the season:
Sakho
Jedinak
Milovejevic(I doubt I am even close on spelling)
Benteke had one season where he was on fire

Ward (when first promoted but aged)

I'd swap out Van Aanholt for the much forgotten Pape Soure, fantastic work rate and would work so well in Glasners team (rather than Pardews). A Senegalese Munoz.

Eze I'd move forward because I'm not sure he'd be suited to that role.

Wayne Hennessy
Jaroslav Jach - Chadi Riad - Zeki Fryers
Nathan Ferguson-Erdil Rakip-Max Meyer-Jairo Reidewald
Frazer Campbell - - - Mateus Franca
Connor Wickham

Subs: Steve Mandanda, Cenk Tosun, Alexander Sorloth, Jose Campana, Victor Camarada and Yaya Sanogo
Blimey makes you realise we’ve done brilliant staying up all these years considering how much rubbish we’ve signed🤣
Although Connor Wickham is harsh, good player when fit

for my money, and everybody else's money........you missed Shefki Kuqi. And he missed too.

I don’t think Eze should be part of a middle two. You need a hardworking midfielder alongside Wharton. I can’t believe James MacArthur hasn’t been mentioned in this debate. So I would move Eze forward, replace him with MacArthur and sadly drop Zaha, which I know to many is unforgivable. I might have Murray over Mateta for his finishing ability.

I think you've got it about right, shame Gallagher couldnt have slotted in that first 11. Perhaps I would put Zaha on the bench, move Eze forward and put Gallagher in centre mid next to Wharton. I concur about PVA as left wing back.

To be fair to wardy he had to play left back that first season under pulis with mariappa filling in at right back. i always thought he did well though and a lot of palace fans suggesting him for england (at right back).

I am totally with you. I don't know if I was misunderstood but Ward potentially makes my subs bench because he was one of the first players in our squad that seemed of Prem standard.
