Besiktas vs. Crystal Palace match thread

McNeil can run hard, a lot, so maybe that is what is being tried out?

Not saying I agree with it, but when you're up against it then maybe that's the attitude shift we need

I'm looking forward to watching McNeill play tonight, whatever position he's in. He seemed one of the more plausible additions in the summer but I feel like we haven't had a proper look at him.

Is this his first start? Feels like it.

Take a step back, peruse that squad, and tell me it's not one of the worst in the last 10 years. Absolutely awful and Parish and Co really have a lot to answer for. We can only hope that poor Pierre Sage means business and the players step up to the plate.

Yep Mate - Parish has a lot to answer for..!!

Did you see we’ve appointed Raine Group to sell the club - this is the company that oversaw the sales of Chelsea and Man U.

We’re up for £900M..!!

Tells you all you need to know - Parish’s time has run its course - hence you end up in situations like this..!!

Weird post. Are you really f***ing drunk?

Sage on the telly chatting to some presenter bird. Should he not be in the changing room at this stage?

He's gone roll neck again. Doubled down, if anything. I wonder if his Mrs tends to give him love bites or something? Would explain it.

If Sage comes good and becomes loved and admired, perhaps we'll all start turning up to games in roll necks in tribute?

I won't rush out to buy one just yet.

16 years , most in the Premier. 3 trophies and a new stand being built would say a successful tenure as a owner and kept the books balanced

This is a cracking event, by the way. So much better than playing away to the third best team in Cyprus or Finland or whatever last year. God bless the mad Turks, turning out in force and getting all overexcited. Brilliant.
