It’s calling out ‘fake news’ posted in bad faith in case people believe it without questioning it.

I know it’s how you online right get the ‘information’ that helps shape your worldview, but it’s important to point out when things just aren’t true or what they seem in case others just blindly take them at face value.

You are basically right. People shouldn't be sharing videos out of context.
It's dishonest. It whips up more hatred, which leads to a spiral of violence.

But it's about right and wrong, not about right and left. Plenty of dishonesty on both 'sides', unfortunately.

1. Such Muslims do stand up and condemn jihadists. If they do then that voice is a quiet minority, which says a lot.
2. The people who commit jihad are so brainwashed they'll not consider those types as fellow Muslims.

The call to prayer is clear:
