maximum respect to all our squad.............bear in mind JUST HOW GOOD ARSENAL ARE......we played like heroes and it was not to be.

Arsenal really are not that good.

They have been made to look good with how poor others have been and we didn't even really have a go at them tonight until the end and what happened we scored.

Great pens from both teams until the last one :-( At least the second half performance was better, like Palace of a month back. Subs made the difference. As for first half?

You aim for bottom corners with power keepers are never getting them.

With the silly stutter thing they allow as well now no one should ever miss.

Not one of Eddie's finest games - I can't work him out.
Lerma and Wharton great in the 2nd half. Devenny looked much better.
Benitez MOTM by a mile.

That was a brave and committed display, especially in the second half.
Sadly it could prove costly though with the injury to Richards which looks bad.
The disparity in the squads make it an achievement to get to penalties.

I thought our keeper was great during the game but pretty poor with the penalties. He didn’t get within 3 feet of any of their 8 although until the end their keeper wasn’t much better. Very odd. At least dive the right way once or stand your ground.

Some great penalties there. Did notice that Benitez pretty much dived to his right for nearly every one of them but hey after how he performed tonight I'm not gonna criticise too much!

1st half was just awful and I hope Canvot confidence hasnt taken too much of a hit. Not quite sure why he was being played as a RWB in the first place.

Second half was so much better even though we rarely threatened. Pino is incredibly lightweight and Mateta seems to be a shadow of the player we've seen before.

We limp through to the end of the year then hopefully we can recruit some desperately needed reinforcements.

Could have been buried by half time, second half performance to be proud of. Walter Benitez as a back up keeper is fantastic, no worries in that department, Deano had better keep on top of he’s game.

I have no problem with losing if the team give a 100% performance.

I just prey Richards just needs some stitches and will be back against Spurs
