Why am I an alpha? I do worry about taking my young granddaughter to London, as I would worry about taking her to any big City these days. That is my perogative, if this makes me a wimp in Saturns or your eyes, then probably says more about you than me. If Saturn feels I have been taken in by a media frenzy, that is his perogative. Without meaning to insult anyone I suspect this is as much an age thing as anything. Those of us who remember London in the seventies will know it could be a pretty hairy place where violence was a common experience on many occasions, not just football matches or pubs, but a willingness to accept that reality in your twenties tends to diminish as you get older. And not just because running away isn't as easy.

Like most major cities anywhere in the world, if you actively seek trouble or act like a knobhead you’ll find it. If you go about your normal business the chances of any sort of crime happening to you are minuscule at best.
