Maybe a year extension and then feck off anyway....I'd like to be wrong.

But it's just as likely that he's off.....I think it's obvious that he'd rather go, but only to the right job.....If Man Utd want him and come for him I think he goes.

I don’t think he was ever going to sign a contract extension with us regardless of the Man Utd stuff. Realistically winning a couple of cups is as far as he is going to go with Palace. We aren’t going to be getting in the Champions League. So from a career point of view why would he stay beyond this season. Can’t really improve his standing so for him cash in while his stock is high and he has opportunities at “bigger” clubs

I agree, but I don't see him leaving before the contract is up just to move sideways.

If a big club don't come in I see an extension....but I expect an offer to come in.

I do not see him in the Premier league with anyone but Palace, he is calling the tune at Palace, all thought of calling any tune at MU is never going to happen, the only Premiership team i could see him going is Newcastle, I fully expect a one year extension, until something a bit more appropriate comes along

He has already won the Europa League. If he wins the Conference League with us, then he will probably want to try for the hat trick and go to somewhere that has a chance of winning the Champions League. That may not necessarily be within the Premier League. I expect him to see out his contract, possibly leaving early if we are out of all the cups and mid table at that point.

Theres no way man utd will appoint their next manager without a lengthy process, interviewing each candidate, ensuring they get the right man. I can see him signing an extention with an agreement to talk to utd in the summer and the club getting a fair compensation package if he gets the job.

In a recent interview he said he is sitting down with Parish next week as its the first chance he has had with no midweek game for a while . Sounds like he is open to another deal if the board can match his ambitions which is forward progress

But none of us know whats going on ,do we ever ? Which is about right for Palace so I guess we will have to just wait and see

The only time I can remember us flogging a manager/coach was Neil Warnock to QPR.

I reckon he thinks he's taken Palace as far as he can. He'll see out his contract with us (probably) and then he'll be off. I just hope Parish has a succession plan in place.

If we were still 4th I suspect there would not be talks at all. Too many suitors all willing to offer far more than us to have him right now.

As it is, we are in free fall. Ironically, the timing could not be better for the club.

I have no idea. A further year looks about right with OG going for significant compensation in the summer to Man Utd etc. if our fortunes improve.

Apparently, we have a shortlist to replace him if he goes. Fingers crossed, it might not be that big a catastrophe.

Why go to a club that has seen so many try & fail (comparatively speaking) indicating that issues at the club run deep into executive management territory when for sure if he waits a couple of months something more appealing will come along.

OG has had a taste of what the UK media are like at Palace, he must realise that at a club like UTD the media focus will be magnified many times & particularly if results don't come because of decisions that are out of his hands he will undoubtably end up like his predecessors.

Short term pain, long term gain.

Amorin will be in clover for life after his payout.

This is right. If our bad run goes on for another 5 or 6 games then I think it puts off some of the potential suitors for him. Having said that Kompany was an abject failure at Burnley and it didn’t harm him in getting the Bayern job
