Odsonne Edouard

No.

Originally expiring this summer, but now expires next summer.

Ideally find someone that will cover all/most of his wage this season.

But after last seasons contribution that seams unlikely
Free transfer to a Saudi team?
Maybe Dougie's team in tier 2?

Correct - he signed an extension before the Leicester loan till June 2026 in the hope someone would buy him for a fee at the end of the loan - so we're stuck with him as I don't see him knuckling down to the work rate OG requires. Our only hope is that Celtic might decide to take him back.

Newly promoted teams often struggle with goals and I can see the wheels coming off for Burnley if they do not get a decent start. Even in the championship last year their success was based on clean sheet after clean sheet, a feat which they will be unlikely to replicate in the top flight this season.

So I can see him ending up somewhere like Burnley or as a replacement/successor to someone like Bamford at Leeds. That said, the Leicester experience will not have helped his marketability.

well he's got PL experience, but I'd hardly call him a Proven PL striker... Think a championship club or scottish club is the most likely.

Do you really think a team struggling for goals would sign Edouard?
It would be like your boiler springing a leak and you call out a carpenter 🤣
