with such high wages i was unconvinced we could sell him, so i am pleasantly surprised. He was never going back to Celtic.
Having said that there is a decent player in there (somewhere) but his work rate and attitude does need a massive uplift.
I do wonder if he, and also Holding, have been given a salary 'adjustment/payoff' to get them out of the door. This is not uncommon when a buying club agree a salary below the current one, and there is no way Girona can match his current salary.

Edouard, needs to be moved on, but he is the only senior cover for Mateta, at the minute. With all these extra games coming up he would have to play, so if he goes I just hope a replacement happens .
