Time to start doing Business Steve..!!

doesn’t appear Textor was wrong, Parish has no ambition. This of all seasons, the perfect moment for us to try and push on. Highly unlikely we’ll have this moment in time again any time soon. For me it confirms what this clubs strategy is. Feel sorry for Oli, if the club won’t back the most successful manager in our history off the back of winning 2 trophies they never will. We had a real opportunity this season to have a crack, so disappointing. Forever grateful to Steve’s leadership but have a feeling this will be the beginning of the end for him when Oli goes and achieves things at his next club.
No ambition, or refuses to be reckless?

Look at what Textor's involvement has done for Lyon or Botofogo and then tell me he's a man to disparage the actions of others.....

1 won the south American champions league, the other are in the Europa league and we won the FA cup. Looks pretty good to me.

I was referring more to the financial status of both clubs - neither of which are particularly healthy, even following their respective successes - and all the debt is through Textor, who is currently trying to move the assets to the Bahamas.....

You do bang on. Can’t be arsed talking to you as it is not a debate just you shouting. You have given no evidence to back up your points. Stoke changed from Pulis to Hughes and style of play and it went tits up.

I couldn’t care less is Jordan has more money than parish or not. What relevance is that to anything. You can respond if you want but I done on this topic

Go and read SJ book it's very clear in the book.

As I said before if SJ made it up SP would have taken legal action against him.

It's shouting to you because you don't like what is being said it doesn't fit in with your story.

It has been covered by people who was at Stoke stop trying to rewrite history lack of investment was the main issue and yes if you want to switch style of play what do you need to do invest in the type of players who can play that system they didn't do this.

It is relevant SJ having more wealth it show he is better business man and backups what he said about he did have money to keep the club going (Go read his book it's covered)

Back to the proper subject of this thread.

We are desperate now so we will do something I don't believe the club wont.

expect to over pay and loan deal.

It was the Agilo loan that started the administration/liquidation process

We need to see what happens by the end of the transfer window, never ideal! But when have we ever done anything different under Steve’s stewardship?
I kind of think that’s the point. Always last minute. Never a plan. Same last season which definitely cost us points. To consistently make the same mistake is not really good enough is it?

I think Parish had some form of relationship with Aglio and was behind them placing us into administration. According to Jordan anyway
Really is that the best you can come up with , and Jordon lied about our ground so were you getting these storys from , oh yes simon jordon , Structadene had the ground hence why we went into admin

The loan terms weren't met, and we were lucky in my view to get a pretty good administrator. But he ran out of money and we were 24hrs from liquidation. I'm surprised you can't remember it..

I do, the debt was going to be repaid by the sale of victor moses, they wasn't waiting and placed us into administration. According to Jordan, it was orchestrated by Parish, who knew he would get the club cheap. Like i said this is all from Jordan and its his fault for being in that position. He was young, naive, upset everyone in football to our clubs detriment. But its extremely cut throat at the top in buisness and it wouldn't surprise me if Parish done what he needed to do to get the club. We're far better under Parish than Jordan, so im glad he did.

We were already in administration, so maybe you don't.

The demotion can't have anything to do with it. If anything Parish should have recognised the need to sign / loan a couple of players to encompass the extra games a campaign in Europe would entail, particularly given the likelihood of Eze and / or Guehi moving on. I've said it before, Steve Parish is happy with 12th to 14th place, but two trophies in quick succession has caught him with his pants down...
I agree, we always knew that we were going to play in europe this season after the FAcup win and because its the conference league it makes no difference, if we qualify next Thursday (no means certain) then we will have a lot of Sunday and Thursday games which our paper thin squad will struggle with and this in turn could have a negative effect on our EPL performances. OG has every right to be upset as he has his own reputation to consider. Steve Parish need to show some leadership and get spending pdq.

And local business creditors got pennies in the pound.

I think moses was valued at 10 mill, according to Jordan, Moses was getting sold, the creditors would have got repayed, everyone was happy. then out of the blue, the creditors demand thier money back, the club is placed into administration.

Allegedly this was orchestrated by Parish, who had some form of relationship with aglio, he used our financial difficulties as a way to get the club on the cheap. This is all from Jordan, who knows how true it is but it wouldn't surprise me.

Jordan is, was and will always be, a serial fantasist. I was prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt right up until his lie that he'd bought the ground was exposed for the bollocks that it was. He was prepared to blame everyone except himself when it was his bombastic bullshit and nothing else that took us into administration. He was a spiv who got lucky in mobile phones which led him to believe, erroneously and catastrophically, that he was some kind of wizard businessman.

Regardless of what parish did back then. It was still Simon Jordans fault we got into that position in the first place.

Even if the creditors were happy with the Moses sale it just delayed the inevitable.

The administrator reported virtually every day, as did Neil Warnock. We followed it all unravel to the point where Bredan Guilfoyle said he'd run out of money and we'd be liquidated in 24hrs. It was all over the news including Lloyds bank. You must remember the fans in London at the bank?
