Palace potentially denied entry to Europa League?

I put the question that should UEFA have determined that either Tottenham or Man Utd (Who both finished below us) were in breach of their rules on 1st March but any "Decisive influence" had been removed before the start of the competition would they have demoted either of these clubs to the Conference League ?
Or would they have asserted words to the effect "We appreciate there was decisive influence on 01 March but this has been removed before the start of the competition so we are happy to allow you to 'Plough your furrow' in the Europa League ?
Answers on a postcard....

Without watching it I'm guessing it's "Palace have only got themselves to blame, in particular Steve Parish".

The difference between them is that under SP our worst case is our first ever season in Europe with two trophies in the bag. Under SJ our worst case was near extinction, so I know who I'd rather have in charge.

It is though nonsense. Decisive means having the capacity to make decisions. Someone with a majority of the voting rights has that capacity. No one without it does.

CAS seemed to have merely determined whether the rules were followed. Not whether the rules made practical sense, let alone were fair or legal.

We will obviously now accept the decision and play in the Conference but I wonder whether the documentation we seem to possess means we have the opportunity to pursue legal actions for compensation for loss of revenue and disruption against either, or all, Textor, UEFA and Forest.

I have contacted my broker and instructed him to buy me a couple of shares in UEFA so that I can have decisive control…

So, if Palace have paperwork that legally declares that Textor did not have decisive control and UEFA have rules that say he did, can I open a club whose rules are white male members only, would those rules mean I could override the discrimination laws?

Pretty much, although he does make a compelling argument.

Also, says something along the lines: 'forget it, accept the decision, now go and win the Conference and enjoy 2yrs of European football', sentiments with which I concur.

We all knew it was a waste of time, we were never going to offer more then the fat Greek would offer as he has too many fat fingers lining too many pockets.

It’s done. Best thing we can do is crack on and win the bloody thing. Let’s face it, if somebody had offered us the FA cup, charity shield and Europa data systems league we would all have taken it.

Biggest concern is I’m now more worried than ever that Guehi is going and so might Eze. According to Sky s*** news we may need to sell them to fund any incoming.

If that’s the case then this really is a disaster of a transfer window.

It is funny, but it's a thought that occurred to me during yesterday's game and indeed the Cup Final too.

We're punching above our weight and long may it continue.
The universal problem clubs like Palace encounter is that once the big rich clubs feel threatened by clubs like Palace they try and nick the best players.

Your right however I do agree with the OP that we need to now accept the decision and move on. Getting the most of the transfer window and strong are now more important
 
Ed Aarons in the Guardian is reporting that we are considering legal action against UEFA for compensation.
I wonder.
There's probably a case for demonstrable loss, but it's a further potential distraction into the new season.
In my view we've been wronged, but sometimes you have to let things go or it can have a negative effect moving forward.
