failed libertarian”. He criticises Tony Blair and almost every politician you could name. To suggest he is cynical would be an understatement.
He is grinding quite a few axes.
Everyone now accepts the rape gang scandals haven’t been handled well. What the primary causes of the failures were and how to correct them is why we have had enquiries and changed policies.
I believe there is much more that could be done to overcome the cultural attitudes which underlie the problem. Which would pay much bigger dividends than looking in the rear view mirror for scapegoats.
