Voting for 16yo's.

Starmer "old enough to go out to work, they are old enough to pay taxes"

I wonder how many 16yo's are in work most are in education.

I look forward to treating 16yo offenders are adults and none of this their brains aren't fully formed yet excuses. Yeah right.

And a host of other bad news.

Job vacancies have been falling continuously for the past 3 years but hey let's get more migrants in.

A 16 year old apprentice on the minimum wage of £7.55 working a 7 hour day and 5 day week would earn c.£13.7k, so they would. They would also pay some National Insurance.

They wouldn't pay much, but they would still be a taxpayer.

Labour to introduce voting for 16 and 17 year olds at next election. Not sure what the purpose of this is, apart from perhaps assuming that those age groups will vote for Labour.

It has been shown in the past that youngsters will vote for Labour and I think that Starmer knows that he needs to do something to have a chance in the next election. Perhaps next he may withdraw the vote from pensioners as that should help him a bit too

I think what this scandal really highlights is that we truly do have a uniparty in this country - this was initially a Tory f***-up and cover up, but merrily continued by Labour once in office.

They are all batting for the same side, and it's certainly not the side of the public.

A constitutionally unprecedented super-injuction which denied Parliament any right to scrutinise the government, and even now it's known, there was not a single question or comment made by any MP on either side during yesterday's PMQs.

To quote a former Chief Advisor to the PM; "The system is working as intended".
