England v India cricket.

Correction the bail did actually drop.

I think Dawson for Bashir at Old Trafford, a brave effort by him, it will take some while out for this series anyway.

😎
I would not be too surprised if Jack Leach was to play the last two Tests. He has been there got the t- shirt, mates with Stokes etc etc.

What about the Ahmed guy who played against Pakistan? Obviously similar profile to Akthar. Plus, there's Ali at Worcs. Both can bat, both can actually spin too. I get the feeling the profile counts.

Dawson won't be an opener though! 😵 More fire power than the Bash.
Who are the potential Crawley replacements? I don't see any county cricket and have no idea who's around.

This is a bit disappointing - India seemed to be wasting enough time of their own.

I'd like Sibley but he doesn't suit Bazball. Hameed at a guess.

Personally thought England's slow over rate was a reaction to India's clear slowing down of the game - believing it would suit them. Maybe if India had just played normally, they would have been ahead in this series. I think they will have learned the lesson but who knows.
We will find out next Wednesday!

The umpires were useless, they didn't get on to the players at all.

Tell them to get on with it, umpires.

I did notice they had clearly told players that they weren't going to listen to the complaints about the ball anymore. That took until the fifth day, however, for them to act. The umpires were weak but, in fairness, both England and India are not the easiest to deal with. Particularly India.
Guess everyone's learned something from the Aussies.

Wouldn't it be nice to hear an umpire say, "Stop bowling rubbish and they won't hit the ball out of shape".
At the moment it's a shot to nothing; if the ball isn't doing anything then just complain about it and hope the next one might.

If we all slate Crawley enough, he's almost bound to do well.
A large number of Palace players disprove that theory but let's give it a try.
He's clueless and he couldn't score in a women's prison if he had a fistful of pardons.
He might as well go out to bat with a bread stick .
He couldn't get any runs after a bucket of dodgy Guinness and a week old curried skunk.
If he scores more than 50 I'll drink a good gallon of Innes & Gunn's finest foaming article (just in case this works).
