England v India cricket.

....or England bat all day today, and then skittle India out ala 3rd test.

Me an my mates have tickets to the 4th day at the Oval, so a draw in this test would leave India something to play for at the Oval...could get spicey.

Anything is possible but i lean towards a draw as sunday will contain some rain, time wasted is never good for cricket.

This morning england have chosen to consolidate and not lose a wicket, i'm starting to miss the lemming like Bazball this is comparitively turgid.
Actually I'm rather enjoying it. Not that it's something to yearn for in every game but it's pragmatic and the steady accumulation of runs is a nice change of approach from batsmen trying to play a prolonged T20 innings every time.
Of course I'll probably be shouting at them to get on with it later.

Personal taste, are you off for an exciting game of bingo later? Bazball is never about pragmatism,it is smash the ball like captain caveman.

Wouldn't enjoy it all the time but the literal change of pace is a nice diversion.
That being said now Brook is out they can go back to smashing it.
