That's probably true but only people in positions of power like him seem to think this is ok. The numbers for the whole of Europe are unacceptable, and they are because we've all made it so cosy and welcoming.

It's hilarious. What is the possible point of that? It's paying to return people who will only come back. Add in the ones who "can't go due to being Christian/ Gay/ a 30 year old child/ forced to shave their beard/ not having TV channels" then numbers will only increase. It will cost loads of money for absolutely no gain.

It's a truly s*** and STUPID deal. Basically means "you take these actual claimants who have a case and we'll let the 50 from the boat have another go later and they'll probably get in". We know that the boat fuckers have a much lower asylum success rate than relatives, therefore we're just guaranteed to add more people than before.

What amazes me about the migrant crisis is that it clearly will only get worse and will never end. Therefore, doing nothing is not an option, it is unsustainable.
So the question is, why are governments not dealing with this now? They can hide behind the ECHR, lefty lawyers and all the usual guff, but they have the power to make it go away.
Sooner or later, the dam will burst. It is inevitable. The cost to the economy and therefore the tax payer is growing steadily, the facilities to house these people is under strain already. Crime and the resentment caused is growing at an alarming rate.
The government will be turfed out at the next election because of this issue. They immediately cancelled the only deterrent and now do stupid deals with France that are meaningless.
What the hell is going on?

They don’t mind that we’re replaced in time. Disgusting. By the time all the idiots realise that they’ve got this wrong it’ll be too late and them and their offspring will be feeling the consequences. The most obvious will be harassment and feeling uncomfortable in their own areas rather than it only happening down the road where they never go. It’s the only silver lining.

Greece has suspended the processing of asylum applications from North Africa for three months after a surge in migrant numbers.
Arrivals by boat from the region will be arrested and detained, conservative Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said.
He added that Greece was "sending a message of determination... to all traffickers and all their potential customers that the money they spend may be completely wasted, because it will be difficult to reach Greece by sea."
"This emergency situation requires emergency response measures.”
So we could do something about it if we wanted to…

Absolute nonsense. Schengen is the main reason for them travelling throughout Europe unchecked. A United European response…you are having a laugh. Way before Brexit, the Italians were giving illegal entrants paperwork that allowed them to travel through Italy, unhindered, within 7 days. Was it not EU matriarch Merkle that said “ come one, come all” oh yes it was.
