Palace potentially denied entry to Europa League?

Don't really see what difference it makes whether we're in europe or not, we should be looking to make the squad as strong as possible regardless.
With possibly 15 games(or whatever it is) if we went all the way, with all the midweek games and the travelling, we would definitely need a bigger squad. Plus it might effect the thinking of our better players who might be jumping ship

FIFA and UEFA should never have allowed any form of multi club ownership in the first place. No national league allows it. Just seems incredibly naive they allowed it, although it slipped through during slippery Seb Blatter’s time so no prizes how that worked.
Still Beggars belief Blatter did not do time.
Textor is falling fast now.

We struggled to get a starting 11 fit last season, many played out of position, that was 47 games, Spurs and Man Utd played 60 matches, if it wasn't for 3 terrible teams, both could have been relegated.

An attack on what team?
Are you actually a Palace fan. Who do you think I’m referring to West Brom perhaps?

This is a calamity of an organisation that has bent over backwards in the past to help some of the bigger teams in the in the various top leagues, so to not assist Palace in these circumstances is an attack on the team its manager and its fans, none of whom have put a foot wrong in any of this. You can call it what you like, but when an organisation shows favouritism towards some teams and not others they are fair game as far as I’m concerned.

And my comments are an attack against all things Crystal Palace? I just don't understand the context of a comment like that. And just for the record, I am a Crystal Palace supporter, and have supported them since the 1960s.

Maybe this was all UEFA were waiting for.

Good news tomorrow chaps.
FA need to pull their finger out now and approve Johnson's ownership.

It shouldn't take long most delays are caused by the new (dodgy) owner not being able to prove his wealth, that shouldn't be a problem.

The other main delay is related to policial matters e.g. owner is part of despicable regime e.g. Saudi's or Libya. Johnson maybe a Trump fanboy but that is not a reason to block his takeover. I don't see why this couldn't be done in the next few days.

Good news of course but still no evidence that the Shareholding has passed, therefore still has some control as a significant shareholder, albeit through another company.
The whole thing is now a joke. He's walking away, not only from Palace but to an extent from Lyon.
Don't expect the French to make an early decision so those idiots at Uefa may still have to make a call.

I think Textor resigning from the lyon board was done under pressure from the shareholders and creditors.

Lyon will no doubt be playing that well worn card "It''s no us but the previous owner whose now gone, so it's unfair to penalise us."

I was saying this from day one, if UEFA are so bent out of shape about multi club ownership why on earth allow it in the first place? There was a stench around FIFA and UEFA years ago, Michel Platini was corrupt as they come and Sep Blatter was well documented.

The people investigating Textor and his affairs outside of UEFA are made up mainly of French folk hence why Lyon are getting some crazy favourable decisions. They are nearly half a billion in debt before Textor shuffles his money about to get them off the hook. If UEFA and the FA did their jobs they would ban Textor from ever being allowed to be in football again, but we shall see….

In other words, F*** ‘em!! They’re loss, we would’ve livened it up for them.

Much as I yearn for a bit of European football, I’m sure I’m not the only one who would blame SP now if he told them to shove it up their arse because we’ve got a season to prepare for and we don’t give a F*** because we won the fa cup😎😁
Presumably you meant to say "would NOT blame SP now... ". If so, I agree. EUFA seem to be as football centric as Textor!!!

We are so lucky Steve Parish always stood strong against Textor. If Textor had got control at CPFC he could have really caused some damage.
So glad SP is at the helm.
That's the difference between having a life long local fan as Chairnan and a money grabbing ignoramus whose knowledge of football probably stretches as far as the length of my little finger!!

Hey! I understand Woody Johnson is putting in the hours by watching re-runs of The Big Match from the early 80s. Apparently fuming about the disallowed Clive Allen goal. He is going to be totally up to speed by August
