Restore Britain.

No.

This is the dumbest thing you could imagine at a time when Reform are performing miracles in the polls.

Habib is at it as well.

Do these guys want to shift politics to the right at the next election, or are their little ego trips more important to them?

I don't care if I like their policies. Nigel Farage is the only man who can win the next election. These two have no hope, so what is their real motive?

No, and there is not a gnats chance I will. I would join the Raving Loonies before them. Lowe must regret that name was taken as it would have been more suitable.

The policies read like a far right wet dream, with zero chance of doing anything real.

The only good that could come from this would be to further splinter the right, before Lowe disappears into the obscurity he so richly deserves.

Not yet, not ever Matov.

Farage has taken chunks out of Starmer and his party of half wits so it would be bonkers to set up yet another splinter group in competition. I've got no problem with Lowe himself, but to think he can win one over on Farage at this point in time is hopelessly misjudged.

It'll be fun to watch from the wings though.

It sounds like the manifesto of Roderick Spode in the Bertie Wooster stories. I keep expecting him and Farage to insist that it's the birthright of every Englishman to have a British-made bicycle and umbrella.

I'm drooling.

The announcement clearly states that the movement is not a political party, so presumably they won't be fielding any candidates, so they can't take any votes away from Reform or any other party.

Then what is the point of them?

Are they going to complain about everything, or are they just going to moan about Nigel Farage?

They are the future. Last chance for the UK. If this does not work, then all bets are off.
What will they actually do?

Your guess is as good as mine
They sound like a pressure group. Nothing new about that.

Are we going to get demonstrations and general nuisance making activity?

As far as I can see, that part of the population that is White and not brainwashed with liberal waffle is already wanting to change the suicidal direction this country is going in.

Do we need these two Reform rejects waving their flags? I'm yet to be persuaded.

The reason they aren't a political party is precisely because Lowe shares your concerns on strengthening the left by splitting the right's vote.

Here is a good explanation from two of the DR's leading lights.

The point is in crafting the emerging right away from neoliberalism (which to be frank Farage still is) and towards nationalism that deals with our concerns on demographics, economics and so on.

Frankly Restore is about the right who still have faith that we can get our country back....Farage only cares about governing for five years before he fecks off.

I'll certainly be joining it.

Well, we would much more like Reform to win than Labour....even if it's far from perfect and so we won't stand in their way.....But long term, Thatcherism isn't going to save us.....Indeed, it sells off the family silver to the highest bidder in every aspect and then complains that we are losing the country.

I don't see how it helps Reform win the next election. Once Reform has at least a big representation in Parliament, then we can worry about policy. It does not need criticism from former members.

Farage is smart enough to know what not to say in order to become popular with floating voters.

When you look around Europe today, it is only a matter of time before the right rises. There will be a window to save it before it is too late, and we are a minority in our own lands.

Restore is about representing the actual right. They will vote Restore but what Farage is doing is more his Thatcherite 'city boy' fever dream.

Farage is going to spend his time looking for MPs from other parties and basically the boomer class, he's not representing the youth coming through. As I said, nothing Reform are going to do will address the real problems and most of us know that.....but if it can stop the rot, it'll be something.

Currently Farage is our only hope to escape the progressives ruling the country so by Restore not being a party it won't wreck it but instead represent what the base is after Farage actually buggers off....which with Farage is as soon as he loses interest.

It's about the grass roots and the right coming through....most of the emerging talent is in the DR anyway....Charlie Downes in that video for example....already used by the media.

I know you're not interested but I thought I'd explain the intent.
