Reform

At this rate Reform might get the 55 seats they’re short of in the polls. Every pub in England outside of inner London would be buzzing.
I think they have already hit their ceiling and it’s downhill from here. They now face the reality of having to do things rather than just talk about them and they are coming up short.

Their core will carry on in their noisy way but those who have flirted with the devil will start having second thoughts.

I garland these comments with approbation.

This is far left and vile....but I accept it as the price for free speech.

I accept it while recognising that all the far left wouldn't allow the 'far right' to put on their own version.

There will come a time when we will probably have to teach them to accept the same tolerance displayed to them.
Why is showing support for the plight of the Palestinians and condemning the IDF “far left”?

The language might be unacceptable. Entertainers expressing political views might be unwelcome. There isn’t though anything overtly left, or right, involved.

I am absolutely disgusted and incensed by what I have witnessed.Glorifying violence against Jews at a worldwide festival, calling for deaths and the elimination of the State Of Israel is beneath contempt. This behaviour cannot go unchecked. This is not protest this is incitement and the authorities need to act accordingly.
We even had the discredited leftie Corbyn given a platform.
I was incandescent with rage tonight, my dear wife bore the brunt of my ire and she threatened to vacate the Public House owing to my incessant barrage of opprobrium against the latest developments. 😡 😡 😡

Agreed, it's called free speech.

What he said was disgusting and clearly playing to a certain group of people. I am out of touch with how successful this group are but hopefully the public will not buy their music.

It's not brave either. We know who attends Glastonbury "Oh Jeremy Corbyn etc." It was about as brave as Keir Starer attending a labour Party conference and telling the crowd he is massively increasing benefits and migration.

Brave would have been giving a shout out to Reform and Nigel Farage and then ducking.

Do they have a track record of this sort of stuff? if so the BBC should not have shown it, if not it's a live performance so not sure what the BBC are supposed to do.

Has Rod Stewart played yet? He wasn’t my cup of tea but I’m changing my mind.

Can we PLEASE have a far right version? It would be hilariously sh*te. Who would be on the line up?

Well, when I say 'far right', I just mean not a soy boy or lefty.

People on the right don't feel the need to be so preachy like you lot.

Phil Collins, Eric Clapton, Van Morrison, Morrissey, Lydon.

You guys make everything so bleeding political.....there's the political and then there should be entertainment which should be for everyone.

But not with you lot.....insufferable narcissists.

I think to be fair to the BBC....while most of their staff would be cheering on everything at Glastonbury (including the 'down with Israel' stuff) I do think they were trying to avoid the overt anti Israeli stuff due to impartiality requirements.

I think because the act was so little known they were blindsided.

That said, I think Glastonbury has become far too political to deserve the kind of mainstream coverage it gets from a publicly funded institution......but hey, the BBC lies about its political make up...which it once had the chance of equalising but refused to....So we know it's not going to change until made to.
