Sentences too harsh!

"Essentially", but isn't, is it George?

For a such a 'scholar' of Orwell, you could quite easily be a character in one of his books with your language manipulation.
Invest in a dictionary.

Oh that's alright then.

God forbid any woman feels bad about killing a baby.

God forbid.
Any woman, or man, who deliberately killed a baby would be guilty of murder.

Abortion is not though “killing a baby”. That’s just the persistent presentation of the anti abortion activists who are so wrapped up in their prejudice that they cannot step back and be objective.

Serious question “ when does a baby become a baby?”

So they can basically kill a perfectly healthy baby, without fear of prosecution?
I suggest you read what the BMA said about this. The link is earlier in the thread. This is an extract:-

“A vote in Parliament on 17 June saw lawmakers endorse the NC One (New Clause one) amendment to the Crime and Policing Bill, which could see an end to the threat of criminal investigation and prosecution of women who choose to terminate their pregnancy.”

Those who provide abortion services are not impacted by this. The purpose is to remove any suggestion of prosecution to the woman herself. Clinics remain bound by the law. So do those who supply medication. Any woman attempting to procure an abortion without using a clinic desperately needs medical help. Not the threat of prosecution.

Does that answer my question?

Not according to the NHS

As most pregnant women will refer to their foetus as the “baby” that’ just the NHS using their language. Same with midwives.

In a legal sense, rather than an emotional one, it is a foetus up to the time of birth.

“adverb [ADVERB with verb] B2

You use essentially to indicate that what you are saying is mainly true, although some parts of it are wrong or more complicated than has been stated.”

Almost like exactly what I said (not essentially what I said) was correct and yours wasn’t, George.
I’m essentially happy for people to judge for themselves as to whether what I said was correct or not.

By their fruits you shall know them.

Evil.
What is truly evil are those who seek to make the lives of suffering, conflicted women even worse than they already are.

I have never met a woman who wanted an abortion or felt good after having one. It’s either a least worse option, a failure of responsible behaviour or a medical necessity. The only ones we can improve are by trying to improve the options and responsible behaviour.

If people really cared they would concentrate their efforts on trying to make those improvements rather than attacking the vulnerable.

Decriminalisation of what is essentially infanticide. Regrettably typical of the degeneracy of the Left.
how are you killing something that hasn't been born?

Let's not go down the US pro life route where funnily enough the far right who want abortion banned are also the pro gun lobby. Cognitive dissonance in plain sight.

Very much this.

I have always found for many on the anti-abortion side it's always been more about control rather than anything else. Its those who believe that women are/should be subservient to men and them having autonomy over their own bodies horrifies them.

Funnily enough it's also a lot of the people who hated someone telling them to wear a mask in a supermarket on or on public transport for half an hour. Imagine them having to carry an unwanted pregnancy for 9 months.
