This has all worked out well for us hasn’t it - if Lyonnaise had been relegated a week ago they might have been slung out of the Europa & Textor might not have been forced to sell his shares and we’d be stuck with him. Credit to Parish for limiting his voting rights and keeping us out of these dodgy dealings. The man is to club ownership what Rooney is to management.
They can appeal and with an additional £190m in Eagle football's account, they will probably succeed. But at least we've got rid of Textor.Lyon can still appeal though can't they?
There's no way they can play in Europe if they've been kicked out of Ligue 1 surely
Surely they would have points deducted which would move them into a relegation position.Depends if Lyon are just thrown out of League 1 and not deducted points etc. If they are simply chucked out then last seasons standing may still remain.
Why not?
Doubt it. OL have got a debt of over 500m euros. They are in deep sh+t.They can appeal and with an additional £190m in Eagle football's account, they will probably succeed. But at least we've got rid of Textor.
