Reform

It isn’t here, despite your misconceptions. Not unless someone else is mentioning him in threads I neither read nor participate in.

It is though constantly in our faces elsewhere. Most of the daily headlines seem to involve him these days.
Misconception when you said
Just like Trump in the USA - in an unrelated thread. This one.

Yet more economic illiteracy from Reform. Expect more of this as they actually have to announce some policies that have to face some scrutiny.

They could nearly build HS2 from London to Woking for that.

Apropos the '£34 Billion', at the Press Conference, Farage just laughed and dismissed this amount, yet when asked how much the latest announcement would cost he never provided any answer.

Furthermore the 'No tax for those earning under £20,000' aged well when analysts calculated the cost would amount to nigh on £80 Billion !
None of this is thought through, Reform are trying to be all things to all people with a plethora of announcements and no thinking regards to how this would be funded.Reform play whatever tune they believe appeals to the electorate. No serious thinking and fantasy economics.

Nothing wrong with fantasy economics. Thanks to this wonderful concept I am a multi-trillionaire. I snap my fingers and Elon Musk says something daft and I've been like Sammy Davis, jnr recently.

Reform must be doing ok if they're getting nearly the same ire as Trump did. Currently, they need some kind of invented scandal to lose. Labour giveaways just before the election aren't going to cut it and are (lets face it) likely to be fudged. And Tories will not split the vote as I don't see a comeback unless they can invent some kind of Boris or Ken Clarke figure. It feels to me that when Kemi talks, no one listens. And all of their potential candidates are dislikeable - although not Starmer dislikeable. However, can't say for sure that people really take to Farage. I've never particularly rated him.

They might be in the ascendancy in some of the current polls but the Election is 4 years away.Apropos polls, a recent 'YouGov' poll only had Reform in a 3% lead.
Reform are being subjected to scrutiny they have never faced before.
As for us Conservatives we have got to do the hard, serious, grown-up thinking over the next months and years to get together that policy platform that can truly address the big challenges that our country faces, to put to the British people.

Why don't they try being Conservatives and pursuing Conservative policies? I expect that we will end up with some sort of merged Tory/Reform party - it could be called Reformatory! The wets, one-nation posers would all b-off to the Liberals (they deserve each other).

Reform uncovering waste and corruption in Kent, people want to see their money being spent well, Kent seems to be the opposite
