Reform

I am rubbing my eyes in disbelief.

Are you actually saying you STILL support Leave!?! Really? In 2016, perhaps. But now? In the face of all the irrefutable evidence that has been presented?

Two thirds of those who voted Leave would still do so today i.e. the entrenched % who one side took for granted in 2016 and who the other side could never shift. Quite a few of them on here. They are people who intentionally shot one foot off and now aim the other barrel at the other foot by drifting to Reform. They are beyond all help or hope and when they argue "betrayal", "poor execution" or other revisionist cobblers, you just have to give them a comforting smile and move on.

What that stat also means is that a huge chunk of "not sure" voters who swung Leave now deeply regret their decision and would not vote Leave today.

That means that, no matter how you gloat, we are now a nation who, by majority, wish we were back in the tenant but have to suffer standing out in the rain with you lot!

Perhaps the reason you are in disbelief is that you still live in that pro EU bubble that ignores anything counter to your desires and embraces like a long lost lover anything positive.

Your complete ignoring of my post's main point being a case in point.

So it's somewhat ironic that you talk about 'Reform' type voters being beyond help.....Look in the mirror lad. You're still banging on about the results of a 'once in a generation' vote 9 years ago.

As for Brexit, we haven't really had it....certainly not what people voted for. What we have had is an establishment that never wanted what their democratic system told them to implement. They utterly betrayed the vote...Johnson doing the exact opposite of what he knows we voted for in terms of immigration....and lying about it at the time.

You use this establishment push-back towards Brexit (a pushback which you agreed with all along) as some kind of justification for rejoining the hopelessly corporate and undemocratic bureaucracy you appear to love so much.

Typical rootless middle class mindset.

None of you had any idea what you were voting for. Or at least the reality of what needed to be put in place after.

That's right.

I never heard of 'Singapore on Thames'....

It wasn't even true anyway....You clowns go on as if everyone in Europe is in the EU.

I always knew what I was voting for.....I just didn't get what I voted for because the rootless establishment wouldn't have it.

Because democracy is mostly myth.

Six years of David Cameron. The Golden Era?

F*cking hell, if you had told me at the time I’d be looking back at those years with nostalgia I would have punched you in the face. Now I’d let that man be amorous with any pig he wanted.

Mind your own business.

Well unless you’re in your 90s, I’m assuming you aren’t old enough to remember the 50s George.

What is it with you Reform lot and pining for an era you weren’t even around in?

Does anyone else find it funny when someone from the left tells us that the 50s weren't the decade you supposedly think it was.....When they never lived in it either.....but apparently they are certain that you're the wrong one.

However, the point they always seem to rather ignore is that even Gen X had grandparents who lived their prime years in the 50s and parents who might have remembered it as a child.....many families would have spoken about it.....You know, having been their life.

There is also a wealth of films, information there to research and cultural anchor points from the fifties that even I saw growing up.

But, let's not stop them with their tired old stereotypes.....it's pretty much most of their argument.

What an absolute load of waffling bollocks 🤣

Take me back to the 1600s. Heard you could get a banging hog roast.

No irony lost that it’s the chronically online that pine for an era before the internet existed.
