There's a disconnect. Textor wanted him at Lyon. He 'ultimately' ended up at Palace after Parish met him 'independently ' .
So now prove Textor's 'significant' influence on the decision by Parish to appoint Glasner.
I don’t have to ‘prove’ anything either way.
I have no inside information, only that in the public domain and that’s what I’m putting out there.
The story is that Textor wanted Glasner at Lyon, but Glasner does not speak French so that scuppered that happening.
At that point , the story goes, Textor mentioned Glasner as an option to manage Palace.
The intention at Palace ( as verified in Glasner’s podcast) was that Hodgson would see out the season before last with Glasner due to start at the beginning of last season.
Glasner was brought in earlier when the decision was taken for Roy not to continue.
If there wasn’t a problem there would not have been a meeting with the European authorities and we would be happily looking forward to Europe.
The facts are that this isn’t the case and it seems pointless wishing it away or hitting out at the authorities.
Plenty of posters on here in recent years have pointed out the problems of the complex ownership structure, and now it could come back to bite us.
Like all fans I hope this isn’t the case, but we have to be aware of the possibility
