Yet another report that debunk's Russiagate. Remember the allegation was not that Russia had tried to interfere, we could all see that, but that Trump had colluded with the Russian to fix the election.

Why has it taken the FBI 6 years to release this.

Any day now, any day.

The TDS West Country chapter will be on touch soon to explain why this is not true

I know you won’t like being told this but that is but another very misleading headline by the Mail. If you read what has actually happened there is absolutely no “debunking” of the findings of the Mueller investigation. None at all.

What we have here is the committee established by Trump specifically to try to whitewash his involvement trawling through every corner of every cupboard of those tasked to investigate him and making mountains out of any procedural molehills they can find.

Husbands and wives sharing conversations is not unusual. The FBI did not base their findings on the Steele report. They conducted their own investigation. Which corroborated some of it, but not all. The purpose of both reports were completely different. Mueller’s was an official enquiry into potential breaches of the law. The Steele report was political opposition research.

So many of Trump’s tariffs don’t have any legal status!

Who would have imagined that a President could just do what ever they want and ignore the law? Only those called Trump and those who support him perhaps?

The separation of powers exists for very good reasons. People like Trump being one. I guess this will become a severe test of the Supreme Court, the outcome of which could determine the whole future direction, and potentially even the existence of, the USA.

Were the Supreme Court to side with Trump, surely that would be turkeys voting for Christmas?

The US Constitution was designed to stop a leader becoming tyrannical. The legislative and judicial branches of government are exactly the checks and balances. Historically they have worked very effectively, especially in the last Trump administration with many examples. What did Trump do in his last term where you think he abused his power?

As I tried explaining to the people with TDS, the US Constitution is pretty watertight.

We would certainly know whether those Trump appointed have decided their loyalty to Trump is greater than their loyalty to the constitution. Whether that would make them turkeys, if they chose Trump is a good question, but he will pardon at least one on Thanksgiving so they would stand a chance of redemption.

If nobody can see that blocking tariffs is tokenism, blended with a policy that has now pushed up the markets massively, then there is little hope. Probably Trump's own instructions.
Where the Supreme Court would have held jurisdiction is citizenship and immigration. They have no say in economic policy as such. I would have thought that largely obvious.
Of course, this makes it looks like Trump is controlled by the constitution, when, in fact, he's manipulating the markets again.
If he was done for insider trading - I would largely agree with that. Except for the fact that everyone does it and only those the institutions don't like get done for it.

Then when this gets to the Supreme Court it is going to be thrown out!

The stock markets seem to think so.

The negotiations with others on “trade deals” will now be put on hold.

Trump has an easy solution. Follow the constitution and allow Congress to pass a law which he can ratify. The Republicans control both Houses so what’s the problem?

Meanwhile just carry on saying that everyone with criticism of this man is suffering from an invented condition. Invented, of course, by Trump! It means an enormous number of people have an imaginary disease! Could have be written by Lewis Carroll.

People still think Trump is serious about making Canada the 51st state 🤣 there really is no hope for them anymore.

A joke so funny it lost his preferred candidate for Canadian Prime Minister an absolute shoe in of an election and has turned many Canadians away from wanting to buy US products or travel to the US 🤣.

Wait for the moaning in a year when the lefty manifesto really kicks in. Many will be having a bit of regret and wishing it was actually a thing .
