2025 FA Cup Final thread

Highlights of my day:

Going to Wembley Box Park pre-match despite not wanting to and actually having a great time.

Seeing a young (but legal) girl in some of those shorts where a slightly unacceptable amount of bum cheek is visible.

Nice chat with a lady who supports Arsenal on the tube, who I think might have inhaled some marching powder, but took me for a normal functioning human being and I didn't blurt out anything weird.

Palace won.

Lowlights:

Asking three policemen where Wembley Central was, the last of which turned out to be stood under a sign that said Wembley Central and laughed at me.

Hello you Eagles, city fan in peace
Just want to say a big up to you guys today, you deserved it and your fans definitely deserved it, sang your hearts out from the first whistle to the last, you made the cup final what it was.
Our fans?
Entitled wankers. Sat there on their hands and not shouting once. Embarrassing.
And this is from a 51 year old fan who has seen it all.
Absolutely enjoy your day, I can only imagine you feel like we did in 2011.

Enjoy.

Fair play. If it's any consolation I'd rather you did well than that other mob who play in red.

I'm glad the boys did it this year because I was around to see it. Not sure I would still be here the next time it came around.

....you are probably speaking on behalf of all of us. The Palace venue hosted FA cup finals in 1895.....Its taken Palace many lifetimes to get to wear the crown ourselves.

He was on my tube train coming back when we beat Watford. People started humming the men behaving badly song and he did the dance.

I think he was many pints deep
I kept trying to make eye contact to no avail and I was quite close to telling him Martin Clunes would never be so rude, then remembered he was just trying to enjoy his day out and it was actually me in the wrong.

Crazy to think that we all witnessed history today. That was genuinely the biggest day in the history of our beautiful club so far.

A day we'll remember for the rest of our lives, a day future generations of supporters will ask us about for decades to come.

Whether or not you were at Wembley today, if you're Palace, you were a part of this. The greatest day of my life hands down

For some reason I just keep thinking back to that last game of the season in 2010 nearly going down, and then pleading with Lloyds to sell us the ground or we were done for. We had been in the play off argument that season, then administration destroyed our campaign, and then we nearly ceased to be. That was the lowest I had felt.

Now we are FA cup winners and in Europe.

Fair play Steve Parish is all I can say. He deserves some credit.

Mr. Parish is a top bloke, club legend in his own right I'd say. I'm sure he is feeling as good as all of us right now. What he's done for CPFC has been nothing short of miraculous and cannot be overstated. Best run club and best owner in the league in my opinion. So grateful for him.

The last time I went to Selhurst to watch Palace was in January 2013 a month before I moved out her to France. It was a drab 0-0 draw against Stoke City in the FA Cup 3rd round and we lost in the replay.

How times have changed........

Anyone heard from Willo? I assume he spent the evening in the grounds performing pastoral dances in celebration of our triumph and has now ordered the butler to carry him up to his bed chamber after a few too many snifters of port & brandy over the backgammon board and a few rounds of horse whipping the under footmen.
