2025 FA Cup Final thread

Finally, after 59 years as a Palace fan it's tears of joy rather than frustration. It's always a rollercoaster, and we never do it the easy way - but finally!! The whole team were immense and worked their socks off. MOM for me was Richards, he won almost everything flung into the box. Hendo and Munoz run him a close 2nd.

Time for a beer or 7.....

This has been an incredible season for me, a Palace fan of only 3 years. Getting to see a game at Selhurst and then watching this FA Cup title run. I can't imagine what all of you lifelong fans are feeling. I love this team!
Good for you. Spread the word. It's a shame Prince isn't around or we could have had a link up with him at the Palace.

I'm glad the boys did it this year because I was around to see it. Not sure I would still be here the next time it came around. Deliriously happy right now. Life is good for the moment.

As an aside with all the rumours, can't see Ollie even thinking about moving anywhere now given our current position. He's building something here. Let's hope we keep it going.

This has been a great ride.

Dear Palace Fans,

I want to start by congratulating you all. I am very happy to witness such a historic moment with you.

My English teacher at college in Turkey was a huge Crystal Palace fan. I was in his class 10 years ago and he taught me a great deal. I enjoyed every minute of his class. He was one of the best people I have ever known. I feel blessed and grateful to meet him. I am in the USA now. When I heard the news I immediately thought about congratulating him, but found out he recently passed away. His name was Robert Harris West.

I write this post to cherish him and keep his memory alive. I know you will all be celebrating tonight. Please raise a toast for my beloved teacher as well. I am sure Robert would be delighted to celebrate this fantastic moment with you.

Sevgili Bob, her sey icin cok tesekkur ederim. Seni tanimak buyuk bir zevkti. Sohbetlerimizi cok ozleyecegim. Sevgiler,
AJ

it's like a dream, can't believe they're saying Crystal Palace and its our players on the balcony - no words as the great man said and I will be on the continent next season, always fancied Copenhagen for some strange reason, Czech Rep wud be nice, got relatives there.😊

The whole team was great, and I’m trying not to be carried away by the win, but that was possibly the best performance by a right back /right wing back I’ve seen in 60 years of watching football.
It’s a shame that goal was disallowed as Munoz deserved it.
I’m pleased that he got MOM as the usual tendency is to give it to Eze / goalscorer.
Amazing.
Special mention for Richards and Henderson too, although in fairness they all played their part.

Wow. Just plain old bloody wow. I was in tears at the end. Mr granddaughter was in tears. The old bloke in the wheelchair next to me was in tears, everybody was in tears...

I knew it wasn't going to be easy against a pretty good City team, but all of them on the pitch were bloody marvels. The fans, as always, were exceptional.

After so many years, I'm not sure it can get much better than today!
