UK shoplifting on the rise and more brazen, new survey says
Shoplifters are carrying out brazen acts of theft because they 'do not fear any consequences'.

unfortunately this is not a new thing. I remember 35 odd years ago doing a summer job with St Christopher's Hospice in Sydenham.
They rely on donations to fund their services and had a big glass bottle in reception where visitors could drop in money. Not only was it heavy it was also chained, yet it was often targeted by thieves.
Eventually it had to be removed.
50 hard boiled eggs ( cool hand Luke style)I think they should update and adapt Sharia law to the circumstances, rather than cut their hands off what if they were forced to each eat a pickled egg? Not a whole jar, that would be quite barbaric.
you lenient woke you, they must be pickled, all 5050 hard boiled eggs ( cool hand Luke style)
😀
DiY security. Love it. But the sort of low life who practice petty theft are also fond of any blames a claim. Sainsburys will be sued. And once Wayne succeeds in such a claim, there will be a queue of pond life at the booze section of every supermarket and the courts will be swamped.I saw someone walking out of Sainsbury’s in locks bottom with 2 bottles of champagne. They got grabbed and properly roughed up by 2 undercover security guards , proper let him have it, calling him a no good c*nt and not to come back.
The fella melted gave the bottles back and went.
I asked the girl behind the jump what was going on, she said they are here because there’s no point ringing the police.
Sorted the problem though.
They’ve got a full time security guests at the m and s garage, would be cheaper to pay the local nutter a oner a week to let the scumbags not to rob out of there. Although I do put the odd protein bar up my sleeve , never paying 4 quid. 🤣
