What the media (and other remainers on here) won't dare mention is that Trump's tariffs are another Brexit win! The UK has been imposed with 10% and the EU 20%. 🙂

This was always an obvious advantage.

You're part of the group think that automatically assumes that there is safety within a large block, when that isn't true when that block has two other competitors that we have traditionally always traded with.

This obsession with tieing us to the EU's rules was always a problem and you're too mentally bought into the modern left's obsession with the EU to admit it. You would have probably joined the Euro back in the day.

This obsession with tieing us to the EU's rules was always a problem and you're too mentally bought into the modern left's obsession with the EU to admit it. You would have probably joined the Euro back in the day.

One of the down sizes of belong to a block is that other countries problems become yours. For example The UK doesn't care about olive oil as we are not producers, however to the Mediterranean countries it is extremely important. So you can end up n a trade war with another country other stuff you actually don't care about.

We are negotiating free trade agreements so we can focus on the stuff we want / need and not have to take account of 27 other countries requirements.
