How long ago someone committed a crime is irrelevant -
so, somebody breaks your nose and you wait twenty years to tell the cops ?

Oh, the graphic has loaded now.To be fair, San and Trace seemed to consent quite frequently.
Thousands of false allegations of rape are made each year in the UK often with devastating consequences for the men accused.
And there were two of them in this trial.
😎
For those struggling to understand how court cases actually work, here's a barrister to explain exactly what happened.

How can anyone have an opinion either way, its impossible unless you were on the jury, listening to the statements and interviews, maybe its time for a polygraph test or an AI app instead.

You can't have an opinion unless you're on the jury?
So juries always get the correct result because they have heard all the evidence?
The law itself makes many stipulations for cases without ever knowing the specifics.
The law on hearsay for example is just one example.....a flawed one but one nevertheless.
The basic facts of the case are known and have been stated on the thread.
It's entirely he said/she said.
There's no, 'oh you have to be on the jury'.....Zero police complaints until 17 years after the suggested event....and that's was the nearest one to now.
I view that as an unsafe conviction personally.

I'm glad I wasn't on that jury I would have hated having to decided especially as the evidence was largely he said she said. I never liked the guy, never thought he was funny so I doubt I would be unbiased.
Brand was definitely a sexual predator although that doesn't mean he was a criminal just a creep. It's astonishing how he openly flaunted his bad behaviour on both the BBC and C4 and they enabled him. Unlike Saville and many of the other BBC Pedo posse he never hid his inclinations and bragged about it in interviews and his booky wooky.
I saw this extract today
"BBC bosses will face questions after Brand previously boasted that his boss, Lesley Douglas, then the BBC's controller of Radio 2 and 6 Music, was 'incredibly tolerant' of his inappropriate sexual behaviour while he was a star presenter.
In his memoir, he claimed this included allowing him to use the BBC's disabled toilets for sex with 6 Music competition winners."
Seriously, what the hell were they thinking.
He treated women like a piece of meat and now it has come back to haunt him. Whether this amounts to rape I can't say but the jury has.
Guilty or not would anyone of us allowed him near our women?
The BBC, C4 and other media outlets should be ashamed of themselves, enabling a predator.
1 down two to go (court cases involving BBC employees)

Still apologising for a convicted rapist, I see.
Australia
So the female who got him convicted of rape, admitted to going backstage and performing anilingus on him, while her friend performed fellatio. He then contacted her 3 days later and she agreed to go around his house for consensual sex, she says he removed a condom without consent and performed anal sex without consent.
Im not being funny its like walking around Brixton at night, flashing 20k at everyone, then moaning when you get robbed.

I don't think they care, whether it was actually rape or not.
