But if we were winning all the other issues disappear, funny thatFrom the description the protest has nothing to do with performances on the pitch.

Get who you are transferring to pay you then. I don’t think it’s 50 for a membership. But I paid for the tickets already🤷♂️

It drives up ticket prices. Nothing wrong with the tourists, it's the fact the prices are hiked and it maybe prevents someone with a more vested interest rather than someone looking for a background for their Instagram post. What's wrong with tourists anyway? 🤷🏻♂️
Have they never gone to a local game while abroad? I've been to games in Germany, france, portugal and Italy while away.

I went to Real Mallorca v Villarreal a couple of years ago while on holiday and I remember it suddenly dawning on me as we got sneered at by some locals sitting near us that we were football tourists and they were probably thinking what we think in this country when we see a row of Asian or American people at games in their half and half scarves 🤣What's wrong with tourists anyway? 🤷🏻♂️

But you have to pay £50 and be a member plus or whatever to gift your ticket to someone
England
That’s what I posted. How much is membership if you know.I thought that this season you can either sell your ticket to the club (as long as someone wants to buy it) or you can request to transfer it to someone you know as long as they are a member or st holder. They changed it.
Only thing i can't do is give it to a non-member.

It's £50 for season ticket plus, not for membership. It means you pay to give away the ticket you've already paid for. The solution isn't for me to pass the charge on to the person I'm giving the ticket to. I don't want to do that. I simply want to give away something I theoretically already own, namely access to the match. I know I get a crappy acrylic scarf with my 'plus' and discounts in the club shop, but I don't want it. It's part of the reason sectors of the support are getting frustrated. The club won't see any value in me as a supporter. I spend nothing in the shop, I never buy pies, programmes, beer. I simply buy tickets to support my club. My seat could be sold to a different tourist every week for double the money, and those consumers are likely to spend £100 on tat in the club shop too. It's a dilemma. The investors are looking for a return, and there are thousands of ungrateful supporters like me, clogging up the seats, and denying them a decent revenue stream.Get who you are transferring to pay you then. the ST+ also allows you to purchase another ticket when they come on sale to gold members (it's the same as having an additional gold membership) - We have ST+ so we can (hopefully) purchase additional tickets for games around Christmas when the two kids are back from Uni (both my wife and I have ST+) - Basically it's the same as the kids having gold memberships but also allows us to transfer our tickets to anyone who has a client ID - Plus all the other stuff that comes with having ST+ like extra parish points and sometimes earlier access to cup game tickets. It's £50 for season ticket plus, not for membership. Tourists don't jack up ticket prices, the costs of players (primary reason), maintaining Selhurst, the women's team and inflation are what causes the ticket prices to rise. Even if you banned all tourists, those prices are still going up until there is a come to Jesus with the Prem about a legit salary cap.It drives up ticket prices. Agree, I think we are kidding ourselves if we think we are attracting a disproportionate amount of tourists who are driving up prices and making tickets unavailable.Tourists don't jack up ticket prices, the costs of players (primary reason), maintaining Selhurst, the women's team and inflation are what causes the ticket prices to rise. I don't disagree with you that tourists are not there for the love of the team, that is what makes them different then actual fans and supporters. We also don't get nearly as many of them as the major clubs do so it tends to be relative to who we are playing that week.

That you cannot is one of the most retarded rules in sports.Agree, I think we are kidding ourselves if we think we are attracting a disproportionate amount of tourists who are driving up prices and making tickets unavailable.
I do however, strongly believe that a season ticket holder, should be allowed to share their ticket to a person of their choice, if they can’t make the game.

This is where I would like to see some Americanization and the utilization of the NFL resale rule where the team cannot do a single thing to season ticket holder until after they have sold 50% of their games for a season. Let's take Woody's own club (NY Jets) and utilize their rules instead of the current nonsense.
New York Jets Ticket Resale Rules:
- Official Resale Platform: Season ticket holders can list individual games or full packages on approved secondary markets (such as the official NFL/Ticketmaster exchange). (You CAN sell it back this way, you can also sell/give it to whoever you want to as well).
- Sell-Back Program Rules: The Jets offer an official Ticket Sell-Back Credit Program (for multi-seat and full season ticket members) allowing fans to sell back up to three regular-season games online through the Jets Account Manager for a credit applied to future invoices. (Yes, the club can buy back your seat for that match. We can round this up to roughly 40% of home matches for us).
- Personal Attendance Requirement: To maintain eligibility for future season ticket renewals or select member programs, account holders are expected to personally attend a minimum number of home games (e.g., attending at least three home games via ticket scanning) rather than liquidating or reselling their entire package. (If you don’t go to 40% of the games, you may not have the option to get them again next year. I actually like this rule as it keeps the A-hole resellers from being able to buy season tickets.)

Exactly this.As long as they have a membership then I agree. For as little as £25.
If I don't go to the gym on a selective day should I be allowed to share my gym membership with whoever I want?
