Crystal Palace vs. Newcastle match thread

That was Parish.
Just back from the game. I really hoped after Thursday, we would be up for this! A stale first half from both teams and we were asleep for the first 15 of the second half. The goals were the other end to me, so can’t comment on who did or didn’t do what! It’s a team game but not sure of the high long ball to Pino and Eddie, two of the smallest players on the pitch is a good tactic!
Absolutely gutted it’s come to this - I was never impressed with our recruitment over the summer, as this key to our success or now demise, I blame the people responsible and who tell Parish who to buy.
Another Aaaarrrggghhhhhhhhh day!

How can a fan take 2.8 mil out of a football team he proports to support, when the team has/ is screaming out for proper investment - not basement bargains and Hp purchases.
Very sad!

It's obvious the HF are mounting a takeover bid. The display funding was just a facade.
Watch how SP is pushed to one side, and the crucial decision-makers are now the HF.

I see Sage has laid the blame on the players not coming out with the right mindset etc, after halftime (in his interview with the club on Palace TV ). His days are numbered, sadly. I have grave doubts we have the players to turn things round whoever the new manager is.

Chucking your players under the bus publicly never works out well for a manager even if it is justified. I expect more then one player is thinking “we were just trying to following your tactics you ****”

I always think things like that are purely the managers responsibility. Jaissle clearly got his players going for the second half and it paid off. Stupid to just hope the players will motivate themselves……

Anyone else caught up in the “scrum” at Selhurst Station after the game - terrible policing and an accident waiting to happen..
Apparently a bloke was arrested for causing a disturbance on the station. This happened before the end of the match.....so the Met sent most of the Croydon cars and contents out to cause mayhem at the station.
I counted 7 vehicles and more than a dozen police. Didn't matter that someone could get seriously injured in crush that ensued.

Your the joker if you cannot see - how much he has let us down by trying to replace Guehi and Lacroix with 2 loans and a sick note free transfer.

Consequently we can’t defend for toffee and have the worst defensive record in the league.

Costing us game after game, week after week - that’s all on Parish..!!
Give it a rest. Your reaction is just one season. Pathetic

I'm sure you'd happily run an organisation that size for that long to historic levels of sustained success, setting aside personal career and business opportunities to do so, all for nothing.

I'm not sure I could ask it of someone in the real world, though.
