If Rob Edward’s comes in, one of my best mates will be coming as his assistant manager. Top top fella, would right look after me and my family, great seats ,I’d get all the inside info, kits/meeting the players for my kids.
I still wouldn’t want Rob Edwards, although I’d like our new manager to bring in my pal as his number 2 😆
Give sage til the international break at least , probably Xmas.
I think all the premier league managers would struggle to pick a decent 2/3 center backs out of what we currently have fit.
Henderson , Sarr, Mateta all available in the next week or so.

Let us see what teams Sage put on against Besiktas and Newcastle. More of the same after the Brighton disaster and he will be shown the door. But please, please - NOT let that Hobbs decide on our next manager.

Yep it's a huge couple of games for him. He needs to change and improve a lot! I hope he can do it but I I'm not overly optimistic as waiting until the threat of getting the sack to change your approach isn't the greatest sign that he's able to identify the problems.

However it was a similar case with Farke and Leeds last year when they suddenly changed their approach after it was widely reported he might get the push, I think against Man City, and then ever since then they've been decent. So there is hope!

We don't have long to wait I guess.

Does anyone genuinely know why Sage left a team that finished 2nd in the French League, qualified for the Champions League, and generally coming along quite nicely according to his footballing philosophy, to join a team that finished 15th, on the slide after losing its better players and with a dubious director of football? Can't be just the salary surely?

Strange how we always have 4 managers lined up ever time we could sack someone . Beat its the only ones they could think of to wright a story
Every club should have a shortlist of managers they keep an eye on, are they available, are they still performing etc. If we don't have a then someone should be fired.

Maybe it is. After all when I’ve moved jobs it’s mostly been because I’ve received a better financial offer. I expect we can offer several times what Lens can. He’d probably earn more in a year with us then in three at Lens

We need old fashioned, direct, hard to beat, grinding out results, Roy style 4-5-1, not flowery, tippy-tappy, football, wing backs that aren't, centre backs that play centrally (its in the title) as a pair, aggression, and hope.

If we win 3 major trophies in our history by being a mess then bring me chaos.

Embarrassing comment.
It is quite funny some of the over reactions, depending on the last couple of results people either love their club or parish is the devil and he’s ruined our club🤣

Remember those pathetic banners at Arsenal when we lost 5-0? A few weeks later we wiped the floor with Liverpool, Man U, West Ham,Newcastle and Villa playing some of the best football we’ve seen for years.

Yes it was bad against the weed and we might have signed some pups after spunking our budget up the wall in January, but things can soon turn around. After all we’re not exactly cut adrift at the bottom
