Possibly. But as opposed to what? Another Tory Goverment? Lets see.

I was actually having a debate about this with a pal. He, much like you, is supporting Reform. When I put it to him that Reform were unlikely to actually do much, he did not argue back (much). But rather said that whilst he realised there was a good chance Reform would f*** us over as much as both Labour and the Tories had, at least it would be a new partner doing the screwing.

Which is a point....I guess.

Because of our electoral system and the division on the right, we will most likely end up with a hung parliament or a Labour government with a vastly reduced majority. Neither is much use.

Rupert Lowe has to throw his lot in with Reform. So far, he is the problem.

I agree that 14 years of rubbish Govt by the Conservatives created a lot of the current problems, but it's not an excuse, after two years of Labour things are worse in reality and much worse in terms of meaningless word salads from ideologically driven Labour MPs who only care about their own jobs

A small change in voting can have a huge effect on seats. Reform have to get past this ridiculous donations thing. It's sad that people fall for dirty tricks, but you will never stop a good chunk of the electorate being thick.

I hope Reform will rise again nearer election time and Labour become increasingly unpopular as their ineptitude continues. Many still don't trust the Tories, but some have short memories. That is a problem as is Restore, who will stop Reform winning a number of seats. Rupert Lowe, regardless of his policies, is the enemy I'm afraid. He must do what is right for Britain because he would win maybe one seat in the election.

Lot of pro-EU noise coming out as well at the moment. Seen some talk about this upcoming Holbern by-election being the iron test for Labour. Do well(ish) in that, and it could be game one.

Saw polling today that showed Labour getting the most seats but probably needing the Lib-Dems on board to get them properly over the line. Adding to the potential EU pivot/return.

Interesting few months ahead.

Indeed.

Oddly enough I am not so bothered about the EU stuff these days.

Both Germany and France are clearly heading to the Right more and more and whilst there was a recent set back in Sweden, the Left still lost votes. I suspect we are NOT going to vote our way out of this and the Reconquista will have to be Pan-European in nature so better to get politically closer to our European Fraters now.

Voting Leave back in 2016 was clearly now something done with a certain naivety and faith in a system that no longer exists. If they want to take us back in, then maybe some upsides in the long term.

It certainly looks more and more promising that the stupidity of Brexit is coming closer to being corrected. We can start planning the street parties.

There are no upsides.
Some are trying to sell the idea of a new kind of EU. It’s a con.

Power always ends up in the hands of less and less people. The EU wants to be the US of E. It wants to rival the US.

I have no problem with a trading block but they already used that trick once. We can’t fall for it again.
