I think the Falklands is a hard line for any political party in the UK who desires to be in control because willingly giving it away is going to cause their base to disintegrate in an instant. Add in that the King has legal reserve powers over the Prime Minister and the House of Windsor is the last line of defense.

While I think some minor parties can make noise about giving it away, I don't think it helps them become mainstream as it tends to be the realm of fringe and far-left figures who want to get attention.

I can easily see Northern Ireland rejoining Ireland before the Falklands though.

You are correct, very few do. I brought it up because while it is only a single party supporting it, that single party makes it drastically better supported then allowing the Falklands to go to Argentina.

Nah don't think so .
He wanted him and his mates to get their dirty paws on Greenlands minerals .
Bolstering the defence of Greenland was never an issue , could have been done with NATO .
As for costing USA no extra money ? How's that possible if you are adding to their defence?
Desperate last ditch effort to try and sell something to American voters .
 
China processes roughly 90% of the world's rare-earth elements and over 70% of other critical minerals, giving it a powerful chokehold on global technology and defense supply chains.

China has been quietly building its domination in this field for over 30 years, while the USA has been mainly engaged in militarism and interference costing them dear - 40 trillion dollars and rising.

Even if they found enough supply I don't think they have the processing technology.

The processing technology hasn't been the issue, the issue was how insanely the toxic the process of extracting rare earth and processing is. If you haven't watch a video on it you, I would highly recommend it. When American capitalists say "holy f" about what it does to the environment, you know it is bad.
 
There are some here who still believe that Trump isn’t the criminal he is, among the many other things he is. This despite the daily evidence presented to our eyes and ears.

Jack Smith, the special prosecutor running two of the cases against Trump has been singled out for vilification both by Trump and a bunch of sycophantic Senators and Congressmen. He has remained dignified and consistent. Today he was able to address a Senate hearing and skewered all of them, reserving his most poignant and devastating criticism for Trump himself. Sometimes the truth becomes so self evident it can only be denied by co conspirators to the crimes themselves. This being one.
