There was a tinker man in football. I wonder how he managed to change - even within games and during his first season at clubs? I find being wedded to any one approach frankly ridiculous in football. Do what you need to do to win games.
Sometimes, the opposition have clear weaknesses. Fulham and our left for example, too lightweight and slow to stop us down their right.
When we did change to crosses against Middlesbrough. Weak at centre back.
We need to exploit what we need to exploit. Not be stuck with a catch all approach that was found out, like Glasner.
I will say I reckon Sage is more open to change. Well, I think he is anyway. Not particularly basing it on any more than the tweaks and substitutions we can all see.

I think that was Ranieri, remember him, he won the premier league with Leicester.

I am informed that Carlos Corberan deploys a plethora of systems.One cannot predict with any certainty which formation his team will start with and he changes systems during games.
Graham Potter deployed 13 different starting formations across 38 games in his final full season at Brighton.

Can you please elaborate on the 13 different formations and whether they included the Terry Venables Christmas Tree formation?

It did but only up to 12th night. Then it became the adapted ‘Christmas Tree left in front garden’ formation before being adapted into the ‘Christmas Tree being collected on ln garden waste day’ formation which in turn was only used until the end of January. Then he played 4-4-2
