Dean Henderson

Exactly. The stand brings in revenue which is what we need to acquire new players… and hang on to them.

Many people on this site have been moaning (and I agree) about the lack of progress on the main stand for years.
Parish is on the record saying he can charge far more money per-seat in the newly-built stand.
Its construction will not be good news for everybody so prepare yourself for the whinging.

A lot people going OTT on this. No players have yet been sold to Forest. A club of our size needs to sell at times. People still mentioning the selling of Olise !! Who has been replaced as close as possible with Pinot & Sarr. Munoz represents good business at £22m for a 30 year old we bought for £8m and who had a poor season last year & was injured and we have a younger replacement in place. If anybody else did go there, replacements would need to be found which at this distance would be near impossible. As another fan of a certain vintage, this is nothing compared to late 1980 when Venables took something like 8 players & ALL the coaching staff with him to the Hoopy Twats !!

Agree with this. Also I look at the goal Everton scored through his error and what was telling was his non-recovery - no attempt to get back, just watched their player get away. He looked cooked.

You are also right. Wembley heroics offset by periodic unwillingness to come off his line when the balls around the 6 yard box. Another soft near post goal (no 4 on Friday).
No players irreplaceable & if it were Forest, just move on.

If only there was a follow button on this site.

It’s all a bit Déjà vu for many of us who are a certain vintage! Terry Venables took pretty much most of our “team of the 80’s” to QPR when he walked out on Palace. That set us back for many years. A Distinct lack of class that tarnished my view of him.

Glasner has earned our affection and highest regard for winning our trophies - but wow! What a turncoat he has turned out to be. All of his BS when he was our manager about “the most important thing is Crystal Palace - not Oliver Glasner”

I think what he actually thought was the opposite! What a Cnut!
I agree with all of what you say.
Also don't forget Venables also allegedly took a big chunk of the money along with Ray Bloye when they sold the Whitehorse end to Sainsbury's.

I feel like they're just doing it to take the piss and try to unsettle. Would not be surprised if 'bids' also arrive from Forest for Sarr and Wharton.

The way the summer has gone so far it'd be mightily nice if Deano just comes out to the media and states he's got no interest in going to that poxy club.
Spot on. Levy used to do this at Spurs, re Wilf.
