Daniel Munoz

In fairness we were never going to be able to replace Guehi, Olise or Eze without there being a drop in quality. Guehi is one of the best centre halves in world football, Olise might be the best player in football full stop, Eze is a £65m attacking player.

For me the challenge is that firstly we haven’t properly addressed some key gaps (central midfield) and secondly that some of the players have not just been not as good but not good enough full stop (Johnson).
And we knew they would be stars when

I feel that a swap for everton's jake o brien makes more sense than doing business with the fat one. Everton would finally get a right back( the pace is probably not there for rwb any more) and we'd get a premier league proven centre back who has worked with sage before and played for our u21s before to fill the riad hole that we have from the unfortunate injury ironically vs everton. jake apparently wants a move to play centre back not the right back he is pushed to under moyes. And everton do seem willing to have older players , including at times 40 yr olds. Moyes did seem to say that jake could only go if they got a right back in place. Maybe i'm missing something but surely that's the better move especially with the fat one's legal case against our club and fans.

One of our biggest successes.....but at 30 I think it's the right call at a slighly underprice price....would have liked 25 million plus add ons but I imagine we still have spending to do.

There could be significant incoming and outgoing coming up.

Like a flower.

Super player for us and think we had his best years. Recouping much of the money we spent on his replacement is good business though.

All fair enough, if the case is still going ahead then it isn't. That's called having your pants pulled down. Don't do your enemies favours. Pathetic.
If Marinakis withdraws the defamation case then the sale of Munoz to Forest and the disbanding of the Fanatics can only be mere coincidence.

Much as I’ve loved Munoz, I think you’re right, he needs that energy in his game which he hasn’t always got with the amount of games he plays with all the travelling with Colombia as well. I’ve seen enough of Khalaili to think we’ll be fine in that position if Munoz does leave

we must be missing something.

If some fat c*** was taking me to court the last f***ing thing I would do is let him have the s*** off my shoe let alone one of our best players. No f***ing WAY.

We got our pants pulled down for Max. Now we let the fat c*** at Forest bend us over.

I can only imagine that there is a greater plan. Also Munoz now goes into my little black book of c****. So along with The forest owners fast approaching heart problems for being such a fat c***. And hoping that the turn coat fails badly and is sacked. I hope Munoz is stuck there, declining with age because his mentor was sacked and is at a club he really should not be at because he deserved better.

Can I just say Den, that we may have done a gentleman's agreement to end the case - on the side so to speak. It's what I'm hoping.
Maybe a Steve Parish announcement next week - so sorry, due diligence, HF have been sanctioned etc. Marinakis afterwards - have dropped the case. Settled out of court. Through the press more likely.
I'm hoping something like that because I'm like you. If someone f***ed with me like that. The last thing I'd do is sell them anything. Unless it was laced with something.
I'd probably be buying gas bottles and looking up addresses.

It can only be that surely.
Also why the HF have 'gone' to make the fat c*** feel like we have done something makes perfect sense.
I hope you are right.

What a fat c*** that fat c*** is. I hope Liverpool smash Forest today.

Dropping the legal action must surely be part of the deal. And the legal action likely spooked the HF leadership as my understanding is they could have faced legal sanctions so can see them returning.

After he returned from his injury I thought he lacked a bit of the pace that made him such an effective player for us. At 30 feels as if he has perhaps passed his peak, so was time to sell if he wanted to move on. Nevertheless, I will miss his never failing stamina and those bursts of speed up the right wing and goal scoring opportunities. adios y gracias.

It seem's I am always at odds with the concensus on here. I said Lacroix would go for about the sum he went for, but that was the opposite of what most thought and it seems I think the opposite of what people are saying on here. I think losing Munoz will be a huge loss. Yes he is 30 but the energy and threat he gives is massive, 22-25mill is not enough for me, I'd only sell for around 40mill. Khalaili did look good last night, and after years of not having cover at RB we now have some. I can't help but feel that for 20-25mill we are better off keeping Munoz and using Khalaili as cover for him enabling Munoz to play less games but be fitter and fresher for the games we need him in where he can really ipact the game.

If he was 27 with three years left on a contract I think most would agree with you.

But he's 30 and has one year left and won't re-sign.

Every month he loses value.
