Trepidation for the 26/27 Prem season ?

Much as it’s a depressing defeat, I still say if the floundering uninterested mateta puts a chance or two away and/or Pickford hasn’t got a finger to Nketiah chance it’s a different game, all ifs and buts I know, but those missed chances obviously gave Everton confidence and we’re on the back foot as soon as we go behind.
We created chances and it’s something to build on, I’d still prefer playing that way to Royball or what could’ve been Dycheball with all that turgid sit behind the ball, not create anything and still lose!!
I’m sure I’ll feel different if we get to November and we haven’t won a game, but we’ve got to at least wait until the window shuts, we’ve had a few games and things settle down in September
Hodgson and Dyche at the moment are in a different league to Sage in regards of managing a set of players, nearly 800 games between them, Dyche only spent over 15m, 7 times, and, Personally i would be more confident of him or a similar manager who has a bit of premier league experience, to a guy who has only managed 75 times in a very poor league

My priorities for this season in order:
1) Win Europa League
2) Brighton don't qualify for Conference (or crash out to someone gash before the final)
3) Glasner putting Forest in the relegation zone
4) Top half finish for Palace
5) Wrexham staying in the Championship and the celeb blokes getting bored
Mine, Staying up

What '' dark arts '' would they be ?

I freely admit that I'm not au fait with the FIFA rules regarding contracts, and it does sound preposterous that he thinks he has a case.

Just another ploy to force a move ?
Bloody agent talking shite , I still don't think there's any truth in the rumour and its also the mail has said it ,I rest my case

Hopefully sage will do a good enough job for us to be around long enough to gain that experience. He doesn’t fill me full of confidence like I said, but if we’re going to struggle this season, I’d sooner struggle attacking and creating chances.

While we have our own frustrations, I guess it comforting to know others looked more dreadful than us. Villa look shambolic. City with Guehi (?!?!?) in mid field look uninspiring. Tottenham was perfection but Brentford is really enjoyable to watch.

Come on guys its 1 game that in truth we shouldn't have lost , if we are taking this as the the bar then we will never have a manager more than 3 games
Let's face it tge failure to score yesterday was fully the fault of our players. We had an XG of OVER 2. We missed 3 excellent chances. That's not down to Sage.

He brought replacement attackers on early enough to try and change the game. The players let him down.

We think we’ve got problems, poor old Villa getting battered at the weed 🤣 not good selling your best players
You can’t sell Roger’s, Tielemans and Konza and expect to get the same results. We need to learn from this. For us selling Max was a massive error of judgement especially as we didn’t need to!

An error of judgement ,yes . Might not have been if he was replaced with someone approaching decent. Guehi, went in January , now Lacroix, two top internationals. The replacement up to now a nineteen year old hopeful from Toulouse. If the situation isn’t remedied and soon we are in for a rough ride.
