We won in Glasner's first game 3-0 home to Burnley, that was the only win in his first 6 games.
I am reminded about the supporter who messaged me to predict that Sage would not last until December and will be replaced by Dyche.
He does not believe that Sage was the right appointment.

You always talk about others opinions, what about your own?

The team will look different in October with the incomings and outgoings and Sage will have his own ideas on players and if he suits how he wants to play.

A defeat at Everton is no surprise - probably 90% on here were forecasting that.

If I was Sage I'd focus most of my attention on defence.
You can't win games if you don't keep clean sheets and no teams achieve success with a leaky defence.
You have to have a solid foundation first, and the current defence looks like it could concede every game.

Sorry to be pedantic but you can win games without a clean sheet. Just score more than the opposition.

There's no need to play 3 centre halves. Go to a standard back 4 and reinforce the midfield, control the ball in that area of the field.

Mitchell much as he’s one of our own is not a LWB and seems stiff not fluent
Richards doesn’t move when we have the ball to stretch playing out from the back
Wharton and Kamada don’t have the energy and legs unfortunately

We should give Sage time, but we can’t afford to wait for 5 games to get a win.

Sage had already stated that the players were not yet ready to implement his ideas and that he would start off partially using a system that the players were used to ala Glasner ball.

We need to see how he is going to set up moving forward but fan and points pressure won’t take long to kick in.

Zero wins after 5 games and there will be some raised eyebrows but he deserves a chance.

A very poor performance against a side that would have lost against most of the other prem sides today. Thought Kamada stayed on way too long today. Was knackered after 60 mins. Defending sloppy and passing by all just not good enough. We lost to many challenges and didn’t take our first half chances against a poor Everton team. It’s going to be a long first couple of months and if we don’t strengthen our first 11 then a long season is ahead of us. Hopefully the Hull and Ipswich wins today was just a fluke day for them as we need the promoted teams to get relegated. Otherwise we will get drawn into it with Europe ahead of us? Early days I know but nothing I’ve seen in pre season and today gives me any positives :-(

1 match so far. We didn't get decimated, Everton were just that bit more clinical. Had Nketiah and Mateta put away those chances, it would have been a different story

Reckoned we’d be lucky to get two

Ironically reading the prediction thread most were expecting exactly what happened

Somehow that makes it even more annoying!

I don't think Sage copying Glasnerball to the letter is going to work - he needs to get his own plan implemented (fast) and be judged on that basis
