Reform

Worth pointing out to anyone who takes these hysterical bedwetting projections at face value is that the definition of ‘White British’ that this 2063 statement is built on is that anyone with at least one parent born outside the UK is deemed to be ‘White Other’.

This means that people like Winston Churchill, Boris Johnson and even our own King of England are not ‘White British’ by this definition.

They know this is ridiculous themselves, but they hope you only read/listen to the headline/soundbites and not question the deeply flawed (or even laughable) methodology.
One of your lamest arguments so far, which is an achievement.

So Labour has a slim lead in the polls, which would mean another Labour government as it stands if polling proved to be accurate.

I am disappointed with Rupert Lowe in particular, who surely knows that his party has no chance and yet refuses to compromise and add his support to Reform. The election could be in '29, but what if Burnham calls an election now while Labour are ahead?

How will the right wing parties respond to that? Will they continue this ridiculous squabbling or have a quick change of attitude?
If Rupert Lowe scuppers the chances of a right wing government, he should be the one being deported.

I suspect if the current Labour lead holds then they might start making noises about an election from October onwards. Read an interesting article recently which said that Labour are needing to tread a fine line at the moment because whilst it would be tempting to go for it early, there are only downsides no matter what. Key to it is the size of the working majority. Suspect if there is no GE before Christmas, then they will just go the full term, but there are still far more snakes than ladders for Labour on multiple fronts.

His comments were logical and frankly obvious but, because you didn't like the message, you reduced it to "lefty"

You're better than that.

He used lazy 'lefty' attack points, which he probably saw somewhere on how the 63 figure was arrived at that were wrong and I showed that.

Not logical, nor obvious.

I don't care about 'better', I care about right.

Not half as much as I am with Farage.

You just need a brain to realise how deeply flawed the 63 figure was arrived at is.

It's a projection certainly and it can be questioned like any other.

Unless their is significant change then I consider its conclusions more correct than not. Also I don't even have to look at Goodwin's work. I only need to look at primary school data to know that white replacement in the UK is happening and is a deliberate process.

However, perhaps you want to open your eyes, the demographics of cities will and is already filtering out.

The arrogance you have Dan to post mistaken assumptions on how the figure was arrived at...all while slagging the right off at the same time.....Get corrected by me on your mistake.....and then carry on as if you hadn't fecked up.

You're too locked into the culture war to admit your mistakes lad.

It’s just funny when blokes in their 50s are referring to memes.

That's a bit ageist isn't it?.....which is fine by me....but then again, you're the 'progressive' not me.

Anyway I was a computers and technology teacher....it's kind of my area.....just what do you expect me to be doing?

Wearing slippers and smoking a pipe?

It isn't flawed at all.

The study is the one full of mistaken assumptions.

You didn’t correct anything, just validated that you’re fine to believe flawed research if it justifies your agenda.

You’ve been quite emotional against some hurty words today, big boy.

Well, I'd suggest that the guy coming on here calling people c*nts was the quite emotional one.

Not aimed at you specifically, just the lazy AI lot.

Noticed you didn’t mind Spindle calling me a f*cking retard though.

At least we all know this as unmoderated Wild West now 🎉

All that matters is whether something is right or not. Using AI is better than spending hours on research.

If the AI is wrong then it can be challenged can't it.

I quite like the retard word.....I'm enjoying its comeback.

You aren't a retard Dan....you're just a very naughty boy.

Actual retards are produced by nature and have no personal fault. I've never heard that insult aimed at an actual retard, and anyone having a go at those innocent mentally damaged people is an arsehole.

No, we know that it's an insult at people who could do much better but are being lazy or being stupid out of spite or ignorance...or utter cringe.....Like James O'Brien over that Arday interview.

However, there is a level of abuse that I don't agree with and I've said so previously on here. For example, you won't find me bringing people's loved ones or relationships into it and certain swear words are a bit too far....like the one you used. But whoever they are aimed at I don't approve. I think Spider made an appropriate post on it the other day.

However, as long as it doesn't get weird, I don't mind people slagging people off....Forums have an element of letting off steam and knock about but some people don't take their opinions being challenged very well.....they suffer from mental conditions some of them, and I'm not referring to you.
I'm quite wary of censorship and I like Spindle's blunt approach while acknowledging that when things get a bit hot...it can go too far....just like I had a go at you for using the 'c*nt' word.
Though, I wouldn't report you as you're part of the forum furniture, even though you've expressed dislike for the site.

People who escalate, should also be able to de-escalate, not every argument is so important that we have to go to eleven. But we are all flawed and we have all done it....well maybe not all actually. I've never seen Willo lose his sh1t for example.

People can have different opinions.....We are here to agree or argue, mock or have a laugh, express intelligence or stupidity, talk football or politics or whatever: It's all gravy.

If it gets too much for some they should just log off....Nothing on here is worth getting depressed about or having mental health issues about because it's opinions.....And nobody has to hear them it's all optional.

This is my entire frustration about it. People use it (and you are by no means the only one by a far stretch) and don’t question what sources it’s pulled it’s output from or its validity.

I’m all for AI as a tool to help you pull together research and resources, but it still needs validating and seeing where it’s pulled its responses from.

At the moment every AI model I’ve worked with gives you a good starting point, but pretty much all of them are fundamentally flawed.

This isn’t just a thing against Grok either; I just don’t think any of them do anywhere near close to what they profess to do or what people rely on them for - yet (they probably will at some point)

What I do for a day job is highly legalistic. We’ve got more work so far out of AI getting things wrong and us having to pick up the pieces rather than it getting it right and taking away work - again, so far. That may well change.

There are certainly flaws with AI, I agree with you.

It's usage is patchy, especially when it comes to subjective topics as that's a reflection of its programmers and thus model. Worldviews aren't binary right and wrongs, they are values and people will differ. Also it can just make sh1t up, so you're right it requires carefulness.

On statistics however and non subjective topics it is a fantastic tool if you know what you're doing.

But so much money is being poured into it that there's going to be a crash.

But just like the dot com bubble, the crash is more a correction rather than a rejection of the tech.

We will have a better and more realistic evaluation of AI and what it's best at.

And maybe these fecking memory prices will go down then.....because it's mental.
