A lot of Spurs fans thought Johnson was useless as well.
I’ve not seen much out of Johnson so let’s hope EG turns out to be VG.

TBF, my expectation for Olise having seen early interviews was that he might not be able to play on account of slinging himself onto the tracks at Norwood Junction.

Doesn’t tell you much sometimes.
 
Was he definitely not signed in time to feature in tomorrow's game? Surely we would have got that done before the deadline if it was announced the same day.

Palace have just released a video of him training at Copers cope on YouTube. Not sure if thats Friday morning or Saturday morning training. If it was from yesterday im sure he would be available for the game on Sunday?
 
From the bits I've seen on Youtube, he's fast and strong on the ball: he doesn't get bullied off it. He turns well, both sides, too, has pace in possession and looks an ideal player to assist in quick transitions; a good 'out' ball.

I think he could suit our style well, you know.

In the interview he said that his first game was maybe the 11th Feb - which would indicate that he has been told that he wasn't going to be in the mix for todays game, unless he has joined us a bit out of shape & needs some conditioning training and some work on the playing structure I would have thought that perhaps he made a mistake and would likely play on the 8th

He’s got to learn how to leave his man unmarked on set pieces and how to pull a shot wide of the target from 8 yards out
 
I know BS season is in full flow, but I read that Evan Guessand is back in the frame for a return? Not sure what other H onliners think of that, but personally I thought he was a shoeing to stay?

I reckon we are trying to drive the price down and if we can he will return.

Villa do need the money my guess is they are hoping for a better offer (for now).

I thought he did okay for us (not brilliant) so was not worth the fee we had agreed. If we can get him cheaper than I'm fine with that.

I reckon it'll be another year loan if it does happen. Villa will just be happy to get the wages off the books as that also helps with scr. Much like it appears we'll be happy to get Johnson off of it.
 
I hope we do get him back!!

Didn't expect much from him at first but i was impressed with him and the fact that he was really happy to be with us.

Shame he got injured when he did as he was hitting some form and i think he would've started in the final as og rated him more than pino.
