Could be another Canvot. Might not.

Somebody has got some faith in him but a Lacroix replacement? Possibly in a season or so or it seems a bit of a stretch unless he's a real phenomenon. Still, fingers crossed and good luck to him.

Could be another Jarosław Jach.
Hopefully not!

We didn't pay anything for Mitch, though.Let's not forget Mitchell only made 4 appearances for us before he became a regular under Roy. Admittedly they were in the PL but let's not right this guy off just yet due to the number of appearances.

Happy to be corrected but haven’t seen a price mentioned for Le Guen yet.We didn't pay anything for Mitch, though.
I'm certainly not writing this kid off, but it's a very odd relationship between achievement and price tag.

I agree about Canvot being a leading contender. Last year he was the kid who dun good. He's proved that with some excellent performances against the best attackers in the PL.Happy to be corrected but haven’t seen a price mentioned for Le Guen yet.
Matsima , supposedly 30 mill Euro .
Le Guen does seem to be one for development , next season so you need to wonder whether we need another senior CB .
Richards , Canvot and Riad as lead contenders with Matsima obvious alternative if he arrives .
Mingueza seems to be mentioned more as a back up for Munoz , though has played CB .
Sosa can , but hasn’t set the world on fire .
Then can any of the young guys step up .
I was impressed with Tayo when he had a couple of games under ? Roy and thought he looked like the next Aaron / Tyrrick but he seemed to loose momentum over the last two seasons .
Had a good review playing CB in one of the practice games ??
We’ve been linked to a couple of senior CB’s in the last couple of weeks out side the two current possible incomings .
A watch this space .

Totally agree, rather like throwing g money down the drain, but what else is expected from Hobbo??Been mentioned his price is €20 million, if that’s true it’s crazy money for a kid who has played just half a dozen professional games. It’s almost as if somebody has added an extra zero because it’s us, at that price it’s a no from me.

I suppose because we paid a similar price for LaCroix we expect for that sort of money someone who’s first team ready now, but then didn’t we pay similar for Canvot? and he was supposed to be for the ‘future’ as well.Been mentioned his price is €20 million, if that’s true it’s crazy money for a kid who has played just half a dozen professional games. It’s almost as if somebody has added an extra zero because it’s us, at that price it’s a no from me.

To me it makes more sense to aim a lower fee with a % of a future sale . Makes it easier for us , but gives an incentive to sell to us given our track record .Been mentioned his price is €20 million, if that’s true it’s crazy money for a kid who has played just half a dozen professional games. It’s almost as if somebody has added an extra zero because it’s us, at that price it’s a no from me.
