Lammy has gone effectively. Not sure whose in tray this will land in.

Good. The racist fat c***. He's the one putting forward that bill that allows the missus half your stuff if you love with them for 3 years as if you were married. Shocking proposal

It's not needed. A couple not married can take out a civil partnership, if they haven't done that then tough.

Marriage is a public contract neither partner can claim later they didn't know this meant sharing their worldly good.

Living together without a civil partnership is impossible to define. What is living together? What if one person only stays 1 night per week? Is that living together? probably not. Okay 2 nights or 3 nights or 1 week per month etc.

The point is that marriage or a civil contact forces both partners to think about what they are getting into. If Lammy's bill becomes law expect to see cases where one party disputes that they were living together. Contract law is based on fairness to both sides but if one party has a different view of their personal circumstances then that is not fair.

Expect fewer relationships where they cohabit. more gold digging, partners being chucked out on the street after 2.8 years, and ultimately fewer babies.

And what of us later in life after divorce? I don't want my pot shared anymore, I'm not remarrying.

Feminism chucking out tradition except the bits the man supplies

"An Eritrean illegal migrant with a beard and Adam's apple has been ruled to be a child by a court, with the British taxpayer now footing his costly legal bill.

The male, who has not been named, broke into Britain on the back of a HGV in February 2024 after being blocked from entering the country multiple times.

The Eritrean has given five separate dates of birth to border officials when questioned.

Immigration officials did not accept the migrant's claim that he was child based on his "appearance and demeanour"."

We are being taken for fools.

some of those 'children' are very adept with a knife......

2. Same judge. Look at all of the surgeons and engineers she's letting in.

3. And
"The judge said that 'significant' weight was placed in the earlier decision on the fact that Gkika had not completed any rehabilitation courses in prison. But, Judge Bruce heard that no courses were offered to Gkika, who was a first-time offender and 'not deemed a sufficiently high risk to justify the expense'.
Judge Bruce also said that in the earlier proceedings, Gkika was asked to disprove that he 'posed a risk' - when actually this should have been a matter for the Home Office to prove, and 'traumatic life experience can make someone appear older'"

4. And granting asylum to a man who had his dog killed....She can't see that the conversion was to help him get in either.
"A man who fled Iran and converted to Christianity after security service thugs injected his pet dog with poison has been granted asylum in the UK after winning an appeal. The man and his business partner bred and sold dogs as a "side line" to their pet shop. However, according to Upper Tribunal Judge Gaenor Bruce, dogs are "frowned upon" in Iran as "unclean" and "un-Islamic", and when the authorities discovered the side line they shut down the pet shop until his business partner promised not to sell dogs. Judge Bruce wrote: "He said that people mainly kept them in the countryside and this was not seen as a problem because you could say they were farm dogs. As long as no one complained that would be ok. It was when they were obviously pets - 'apartment dogs' - that there could be difficulties with the authorities."
5. And this serial criminal

An Egyptian one-man crimewave branded a "danger to the community" has avoided being deported - for fear he could face "ill-treatment" back home. The unnamed serial offender, who was granted anonymity for the immigration tribunal hearing, sneaked into Britain in the back of a lorry aged 14 and initially claimed asylum in 2016, having failed to do so elsewhere in Europe.
But despite his golden opportunity for a new life, the tribunal heard he repaid British taxpayers, footing the bill for his being in this country, by embarking on a life of crime. Now aged 24, the cannabis and cocaine user has amassed at least 19 convictions involving threatening behaviour, being in the Channel Tunnel, vandalism, assaulting an emergency worker, theft, drug possession, affray, possessing an offensive weapon and burglary.
The tribunal heard his first appeal against a refusal of asylum was dismissed by a first-tier immigration tribunal judge in 2017, and then in November 2023, he was jailed for 27 months for robbery.
He was granted anonymity for the immigration hearings due to his "struggles" with mental health.
Immigration judge Gaenor Bruce declared: "His appeal falls to be allowed on protection grounds because I accept that there is a real risk that if returned to Egypt he will face torture or other ill-treatment."

6. Join a cult, take part in a massacre and claim you will blab about it and that is a risk to your life
"Cult massacre survivor can stay in UK because he can’t be expected to keep it secret
The Angolan man, 23, was part of the Light of the World sect targeted by the military
The survivor of a cult massacre has won an immigration case to stay in Britain because he cannot be expected to keep the incident secret…"

Judge Gaenor Bruce, who was an advocate for migrant rights before becoming a judge.

So she's institutionally biased. Who the hell gave her the job? There's an incentive to be a criminal in your home nation because iit clearly supports your appeal with this woman. He's not persecuted, he caused it himself.
Also, this sums her up for those converting to gain asylum

I am going to offer her some magic beans, she'll believe anything.
