The fact that so many members' faustian response to Easternboy's initiative was to jump down his throat with vitriol, mockery, and twist everything and basically hound him out as a mob is really reflective of exactly his point.

You don't get to claim "no politics" whilst making everything political, just in your own preferred political outlook.

If you really believe there is no need for such an organisation here, as many have claimed, what harm exactly is such an organisation going to do to you personally? Just ignore it and let others who want to engage with it.

Because it’s being peddled on Palace Talk. Can’t you get that? It’s invasive, unwelcome and tedious.

Racism is not at the top of most people's priorities in Britain. And why should it be?
I'm guessing that a large chunk of the 10% of the world's population that is White are getting a bit fed up with hearing about racism, especially with all the other stuff going on.

how disgusting is it to walk into a poverty village in, Say, Russia .....and to declare that all the locals are horrible racists ? with zero evidence and nothing but a prejudice against all Russians.

I've not been on the site too much of late, but I'll have to go against the grain and admit I'm quite interested in this topic.

Things aren't anywhere as bad as they have been in years gone by and any racist Palace fans really need their head checking, given the rich history of very successful black players at the club, a literal mural of one and us being a Croydon club.

However, some of what I saw and read of in Leipzig IS concerning to fans "of-colour". I'd rather we wouldn't be in the position where we'd need a Palace Fans Against Racism group, but on the same coin, I'd like to go to an away game, among my own fans and not feel uneasy.

I hope you never have to experience abuse because of your skin.
My observation is that there will always be arseholes who want to abuse people for a variety of convenient reasons.
That said, it seems to me that if there is any genuine prejudice towards black people, it has nothing to do with actual racism. For me, this is where the whole concept of racism and therefore anti racism lacks nuance or sense.
