Sage's first day at work

If Sage is anything like me then he'll probably spend his first day setting up his email account and passwords, finding the toilet and kitchen, and being introduced to loads of people, none of whose name or job title he'll remember the next day.

When he gets home his wife will ask 'How was your first day?' and he'll say 'Fine, they all seem nice enough. Not really sure what I'm supposed to be doing, though...'
Checking how good the WIFI is in the toilets

I think he will arrive fully-loaded with French attitude. at around 12:10pm. He'll then nip to Sainbury's for a few bottles of vin and a couple of croissants, and commence lunch at approximately 12:32. Lunch will last until Wednesday afternoon, followed by a long nap. When Sage awakes, it'll be the weekend.
And if you try to reprimand him, he'll go on strike and block all entrances to Selhurst with French trucks

Vive La France 😀

Probably .
It was a lighthearted post bearing in mind that Sage is due to start work next week.

When Pulis was introduced to the Palace squad on his first day his first question was supposedly to ask if any of them had a long throw.
I like that - pragmatic and straight to the point.

Delaney tells a story that when Allardyce selected his first teamsheet that he told the players if any were unhappy at not being selected they could leave.
Show them who's boss, and challenge them to be included in future selections I suppose.
...when would his bonus get paid?
