I've read the comments on here. No one has the power to shut down anyone; except the moderators.

All people have done is express an opinion; exactly as Seth did.

However Seth did accuse someone of rascism on his blog replies. This was unfounded but not surprising from people pushing immigration.

I’ve just seen his comments at the end of the blog. The first one was an ill informed snide comment. With hindsight I’m glad I wasn’t sitting next to this virtue signaling pompous twit on the plane home!

That was the only thing that annoyed me about any of it.

I couldn’t care less what he believes in. But that comment struck a cord.

I could have made the same comments as the guy he was calling rascist. My wife is from Ghana and I have mixed race kids.
In fact over the years I have been called rascist. Go figure.

The guy making those comments about his immigration meme could also have a similar family.

They often assume that you are rascist for legitimately questioning why our government is flooding the country with immigrants.

One side point is do you think you can be racist if you are not white or married to a non white person. Only ref your line in the post as it’s quite relevant to the conversation about Seth’s article.
Btw I haven’t read Seth’s piece.

Absolutely, some of the most rascist people I've meet are black. Can you be rascist if you're married to a member of the "opposite race"? In theory yes, it would be a bit strange. My kids are brown, so that would be a bit ffd up in my situation

I was making the point about my family as to show that people can be in favour of a certain amount of immigration, but not an absolute avalanche.

To be clear on what I think rascism is. It's not hurty words.

Rascism is for me, is young white girls (some as young as 11) being targeted and raped by Pakistani men in this country.

I think that leaves you in no doubt to my politics. Lol

Isn't it interesting and strange that all these lefty/liberal guys and girls; all support things that align with our governments narratives.

From immigration to climate change, they agree with the government's of the world on many topics.

The left who were traditionally suspicious of government; now support them. Just a coincidence, nothing to worry about. Lol

I've never seen the grooming gangs being spoken of as rascist by one left or liberal person. Here's your chance my Liberal friends.

If they did that, and admitted that mass immigration of people from certain areas of the world, increased certain crimes; then we could all have a better debate.

I could list lots of positive things that immigrants have brought to the country.

Unfortunately many "liberals are unable to list the number of great things the native population have done and do.

I was once definitely a liberal. I understand why people, especially the young are drawn towards those kind of views.

The reality of people holding different views can be seen as a great thing. We can both learn from each other. For instance I've learnt a lot about my wife's culture. Hopefully she has from mine.

So I don't want to see things as us and them.

I have found people on both sides of the debate to be obnoxious. Ultimately some common ground can be found, but I won't hold my breath.

Life ain’t fair or easy. Back when Blair gave university courses out promising it would guarantee fame or fortune and stopped kids leaving school at 16 is when this young liberal movement took off.
They still believe the s*** he spouted. At around 30 years old is when they realise they were lied to and know the facts about life so need a mind reset and politics is where it happens first

But its turned political he has already had is say a stupidly put a wrong thing at the end , overall part from that it was a good story , but its gone way beyond that now , and if you can't see that then your just as a bad as the mistake made
