World cup 2026

I have a theory that Tuchel should play the shortest players in Mexico. As we all know the closer to the ground you are the more oxygen is in the air .

For example Ollie Watkins 5'8'' should replace Harry (Iv'e scored more goals than Pele) Kane at 6'2''
Thats six inches which I'm told by various sources makes all the difference to performance . 😛

Also means the likes of Burn , Rice , Pickford ,Bellingham and Stones may as well miss out on the Mexico trip and go straight to the next game
Lucky Peter Crouch is not playing....he'd asphyxiate on the spot. 🙁. (is that even a word?)

Last minute VAR decisions are they legit?

You can't help being suspicious about a lot of decisions here.

'There is contact!'.

Yes Dion Dublin, especially when you played.

😎

What a game from Cape Verde; so unlucky not to take it to penalties. They played with no fear and deserve so much credit for every game they played. Scored a brilliant goal tonight as well.

We saw last night with what Paraguay got away with on what to expect against Mexico . Its not going to be pretty that's for sure .

Overall this world cup is turning out to be a bit of a stinker with preferred players /teams being clearly advantaged by some shocking refereeing . It's all well and good letting the game flow but that's not the same as ignoring clear foul play

Some called it shithousery, but some of the Paraguay players were scum last night and Mbabbe handled it brilliantly……..it did liven up a dull game though, reminded me of the Uruguay team in 1986

Brazil just given a pan (missed) Norway defender gets a touch ,that angle has been deleted and only film that looks like he doesn't get a touch is repeatedly shown to the ref on the monitor

Erm, looks like another fix up

That's what I thought. I'm certain there was a touch on the ball first.
